The Danger of Dog shows

My DD's were watching the dog show on Animal Planet today. Our new puppy is now being put through the paces of a show dog. He isn't doing too well but thinks it's an okay game. They are including the treats after every lap so that he seems to approve of.

If only they were this concerned about house training.

LOL! We are going through the house training process right now.....And I was so proud when my puppy went in the pouring rain to use the bathroom while ago. She got a big treat.

It's been raining almost every day in the 3 weeks since we got him. He is getting over the not wanting to get his feet wet but still isn't thrilled with the idea. He is doing pretty well, I keep reading that Bichon's can be hard to train because the are stubborn. He's got good control but hasn't quite got used to the fact he's supposed to go outside when he needs to go.
