Good Morning!

Nancy- Hope senior night goes well!!!
Lisa- sounds like school activities have you all tied up at the moment.
Casey- glad Julia is finding things she likes to do and being willing to do them.

I am starting today a semi-long term sub job working as the 6th grade teacher at the elementary school out here. Biggest problem- no books a small classroom library but there is only 1 copy of each of the curriculum books we are supposed to use.

Today:
6th grade day
find out where I can find a lesson plan template
work on plans for next week
get copy of grades so I can see how the students are doing
figure out what to use for remediation starting next week (they have been using some worksheet that run out- the county has a computer program they are supposed to use but do to our internet capabilities it cannot run way out here and since they have the computer program they won't pay for other materials but they have to be proven and tested materials and not teacher made all of which are expensive but again they won't allow us to buy them) I think our school board is one of the worst in the state.
floors
bathrooms
work on unpacking a box or two
get ready to start making cards for a silent auction at the end of the month

It's Thursday already - wow! Tomorrow and Saturday is the Scrapbook Expo in Ft. Lauderdale, yay! About an hour's drive from here so I'll be going both days - very excited!

Not much on tap for today:

Laundry
Vacuum
Pick up supplements between 10-5
Put out Halloween décor

Rebecca - best of luck to you on your sub assignment!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Thank you all!! Senior night was AMAZING!!!

The game was amazing!!! Regulation ended in a 0-0 tie.. so into 2-10min OT sessions we go... shot on goal for us in the last secs of the 2nd 10min OT.. no good... got to penalty kicks.. and we won!!

Although the boys could have not given the parents a heart attack and just won early on! LOL.. However, these senior boys are notorious for pushing it to the limits and stressing out the parents! LOL Love our seniors... such an amazing game tonight and such wonderful young men!!!

ETA: Poor bear didn't even get to eat his birthday cake it was 10pm before we got back home.... Guess who gets cake for breakfast! He never did complain.... he had too much homework to do..but we did light his candles and give him his gifts....
