The Daily Grind - June 20th, 2011

Welcome to Monday!

I know, I know, I haven't been online early in the morning in ages. DH woke me before he left for work. We didn't want "Thumper" getting up on her own.

My Monday to do:

Up early
feed cats
put a load of laundry in
write in DD's communication book
do a quick tidy of the house
get DD ready for school. She is getting up and able to bear some weight on her foot, she will have a wheelchair so I think she'll do fine.
caffeinate
work
mail out bills
home

Well, DS's car broke again. I did enjoy having my car to myself for one day. It seems like time to put his car in the shop since DH can't figure out what's wrong. I'll follow DS this morning and we'll drop it off and then he'll take me to work and then pick me up this afternoon after he gets off work.

My day:
DS up to clean all the garbage out of his car - he's a slob and it's like his car is a garbage can. I don't know how he or his friends can ride in that thing.
Follow DS to car shop
Work - I didn't get to make class signs yesterday, maybe today. Instead, I put out lots of pumpkins, crows, and fall flowers. It's looking quite fall-like in one part of our store.
Dinner - I will actually be home at dinner time
Work on a couple of projects I've got going that need finishing up.

Today I'm doing repairman watch again... AC prob from before that he rigged a fix will be really fixed... Lets hope this time it stays fixed, or DH will go thru the roof!

I was supposed to be off today, but switched to be off yesterday... and woke up with a summer cold and generally feeling of crappy so wasted my day off

Today my girl is graduating from 5th grade...so not ready to be a mama of a middle schooler but she is so excited and I am for her !!!!

my day:

Megan up - doing hair and dressing up!
back home to straighten up
10am hair appt - color, highlights and cut!
pick up flowers and grad balloon for Megan
school for ceremony
probably go for treat after school
dinner - whatever my graduate wants!!
last dance class

Official first day of summer vacation and we are up and ready to go!

Must do's:

Get DS14 up and out to GreatGrandma's house, she's moving to a smaller apt.
Get DS9 up and out for Basketball camp.
Breakfast - Shhhhhh, it's quiet in the house!!!
wake the rest of the house up
Find my latte colored wall paint
Clean bathroom
Paint bathroom
replace sink with new one
hang new towel bar
hang new shelves
clean boys room
get DS9 - noon
lunch
laundry
add more to the dumpster
work out
dishes
pay bills
dinner
30 minute reading time
bed - I hate hate hate our new mattress!!!! Might just sleep on the couch

7. Find DS a birthday shirt online
8. Upload pics to Snapfish for deal--why did they switch to 50 for $5? That's just gonna make me create more accounts!!

10. Do PL cards from last week
11. DS outside time
12. Nap
13. Fold laundry
14. Dinner--turkey & bacon sandwiches
15. Watch another episode of "Bones"

many, many summer projects to do!! Want to get this house in order for late house warming BBQ in July. Hope I can make it.

DD has official 4H duties to finish.

Little One wants to go to the park. Its going up to 105 this week so going to have to be early! Early is not one of my strong suits.
