It's Monday!

I hope everyone had a great weekend! It flow by and even though it was filled with a soccer game and an attempt to finish the last of the siding...it was a good weekend!

It was funny on Sunday we went to finish the last of the siding.. DH and I would cut the piece and put it up.. get 2 sheets up and Eeyore's lonely ol' rain cloud would stop by and dump a shower on us... ok, put everything up, go in....ok sun is out back we go... 2 sheets up and another shower.. LOL finally after we came in for lunch and a nap the showers stopped.. We are short about 6 sheets.. so we have to grab them today...

We have accepted the contractor's bid for re-doing both of our bathrooms I need to go look at tile and fixtures and make a decision so we can get started soon.

Sign up for DHS swap
Work on Lisa's cards
Attend Big Picture virtual classes (project life lessons and big picture festival)
Shop for tile (maybe)

Been out and about this am, so good to go there.
Dinner is prepped and ready, got to continue on Shutterfly book.

Nan, we call that the 90/10 rule......90%off the project gets done with no problems, last 10% ugh, hardest work!

I hear ya!!! The most annoying things... we were 1/2 inch off in height around the door frame.. so we had to rip down all we had done between showers to cut 1/2 inch off the very bottom piece at the deck... not a big deal... once we made that cut, the boys since I labeled them as I took them off the house were able to put them up in less than 15 minutes... but it was annoying as heck... but I kept telling DH that it looked off just a bit.. Seriously, I'm blonde but not dumb!

We got the last 7 sheets of siding today... so hopefully we can get them up yet this week and have a FREE weekend (minus the soccer game)... I would love to do the zoo on Sunday if there isn't a home football game downtown...
