Happy Wednesday!! Half way thru this work/school week.

Awesome game last night! DS17 scored to first goal of the game and almost had 2 others but his feet and his brain did not work together! But it was an amazing game to watch.. so much team play and ball control!


Let's see today:

up
make lunches x 3
once over house
send DH off to work
DS12 up and ready for school/game
boot up SBC so I can resize photos to order (I can complete 7th & 8th grade basketball by the weekend!!)
get myself ready for the day
take photo of DS12 in his uniform shirt (tradition to wear it to school on game days)
DS12 to school
DS17 up for school/practice
email friend to ask if she can still pick up DS12 tomorrow due to DS17 having an away game
resize photos for order
DS17 to school
nap
scrap - goal is to prep 8 pages today
lunch
finish up pages
cut items for décor project
upload photos to order on Friday
off to DS12's home game; DS17 will come by after his practice
dinner
homework
bedtime routine
CRASH!

Happy hump day!, even though it seems like a Monday here due to start of the "new" routine.

I get tired just reading what you are doing today, PN.

Here is my paltry in comparison list for today:

See if we need to augment supplies

Bed

I really don't hope to accomplish much today, just get through the day. That is NOT to say there isn't work to be done, but I hate the 1st day of school!! Hate, hate, hate it!! (which is but 1 reason I couldn't be a teacher)

Well I'm glad yesterday is over! Had an appt. with the Ear, Nose and Throat doc about my right ear (still clogged but not as badly) waited 90 minutes before they called my name to bring me back into the exam room only to find he still had 3 more people to see before me! It was gonna be another 30-45 minutes of waiting! I said no thank you! Found another doc and got an appt. for 3:15 today let's see if that doesn't go a little better...

Then the tile guy from Lowe's still hasn't called about setting up an appt. to come and quote us for a shower retile. I went by the store on Saturday and was told the right tile guy was suppose to call the evening of the 2nd (they sent a floor tile guy out initially, not shower!!!). No call then or yesterday. Called them at 8 last night to find out why and of course all they could do was put a note in the computer. When I asked to speak with a manager, I got a guy who barely spoke English and I sadly couldn’t understand a word he said. So, it’ll be back to the store today to get my $35 fee back or an appt. time for a quote. That is one thing I hate about living down here. The mentality and culture believes time is theirs to do what they want with and very few people are considerate of others and our time. They believe if you want something bad enough, you’ll wait for it. So different from northern Florida and the rest of the South!! ARGHHH! Sorry, just needed to vent!!!

So for today:

3:15pm Dr. appt.
Go to Lowes
Steam Clean stairs
Wash kitty fuzzy, white bed and upstairs cat bed
Mop downstairs
Email to add other people to our guest list for the front gate
Mend shirt
Try to add another day to Jan DVC Ressie

Oh my Becky... I hate those type of waits at a doctors office... They should tell you when you go in how long the delay is and allow you to reschedule.... Glad you were able to reschedule for today; sorry it is with another doctor but that may be for the better!

I hope you get an appointment and your money back from Lowes. That is just so unprofessional of them to act like your time is of no value!!

Thanks Nan - I feel a little better cause Lowes just called me about 10 minutes ago. They wanted to clarify exactly we needed done so they can have the right person contact us. It will be a contracted co. that they use and they will call them this morning and have them give us a call. The rep did say it could be a day or two before they call us because she doesn’t know what the contracted companys schedule is like. At least that’s one item I can cross off my to do list for today….

DS wasn't watched carefully last night while I was gone, ruined some stuff and set me back a few hours. Ugh!

My lists are long girls but really they are not bad..... I do the wake up calls...the kids do everything else! I do reminders and that is it.... it's really pretty easy in the mornings! DS17 and I get our talks in after DS12 heads to school.

Sorry Rachal that they were not watching K-man last night.... I hate that....but it happens...just sorry it happens with orders that needed to go out... Wish I could help...

I hope all the kiddos starting school today have a great day!!

Alright, I'm headed to the scraproom.. awaiting my BFF to text she is ready for our scrap meeting! LOL Buffy and I usually get one day a week where we scrap and talk about what has gone on with the kids over the week... I've been busy, she's been counting down the days till school starts!.. Guess what.. school has started!

Just be VERY careful with Lowe's contracted companies. Some are great, some are not. We got rugs from them about 3 years ago, TOTAL fiasco! Employees didn't know product they were selling, measurements were taken by inexperienced person leading us to over purchase and waste huge amounts of carpet and padding (which we also had to pay to dispose of!), rugs were installed sloppily and incorrectly, store sales team and manager were unhelpful attorney work with. Total nightmare!!! I still do NOT believe that my master bedroom carpet was/is the same color I ordered. We had the contract company back 3 times to fix their work and less than 18 months after they went in, the rugs started bubbling. Lowe's was willing to send their BEST contractor our to fix them for $225 per room. Yup, you guessed it! Original installer! (I would have been very scared to see one of their less skilled install teams.) in the interest of full disclosure, we went to Lowe's because my parents in another state had a phenomenal installer. Just be careful with Lowe's.
