The Daily Grind ~9/12/11~

We didn't have a very good weekend at my house. DS23 and I had to make that terrible decision to love his pretty yellow puppygirl enough to let her go. RIP Princess Holly of Greandeview Farms. You are missed so much! It's heartbreaking!

Sorry to be Debbie Downer. Just had to get that out there. My other dog is still doing as well as can be expected with her probs. We have a new normal at my house. Still too new, I still see flashes of her in the yard, and hear her moving around the house... I know from past furbabies that this will fade, but it brings tears now.

My list for today:

Swish Swipe and Swiffer

Get some crafty things ready for work tonight

Pack a dinner
Work @3p

Oh, Debbie. I'm so sorry for your loss. As difficult a decision I know it had to be, I hope it's a comfort that she's not suffering.

I'm at work today. We had "the baby" on Saturday. She's so darned cute and a really good kid. Morgan is really great with her. She's very protective too. Some kid made a comment about her and Morgan got all hot and bothered. Very funny.

My "baby" spent the night at a friend's on Saturday, I picked her up after I got a call that she had fallen and gotten a bit of a rope burn. Nasty mark, but she'll be okay. We took it easy yesterday. Not much got done.

template namecards for PJ's graduation announcements (I want to make my own instead of those horrid things they had the past 2 years)

pull $$ from bank for 2 away soccer games this week (we are on our away stretch the next 3 games)
template King Louie title today
cut out dolls for upcoming Paper Doll swap (I can work on these early if I get the groups, yay, if not, I'll put them out in a RAK)

there is a ton more but I won't bore you.. tomorrow is house cleaning day since DH is working from home...

I need to upload more pics to snapfish a finish up my order. Mom threw a last minute request at me for pics yesterday. Spent all day editing and ordering pics....now I will be really far behind in my scrapping.

It's official!!! PJ was accepted into her first choice!!! We have an official Fall 2012 college acceptance!!!! Her BF got her letter Saturday... now we are waiting for their other 2 friends to decide where they are going... Unfortunately, the BF & PJ are 2.5 hours in opposite directions of the state... middle ground is HOME!

It's one of the hardest decisions to make, but the most humane when their time has come. They are such important members of the family. Hard to say goodbye. I know exactly what you mean seeing flashes and hearing your furbaby. I have experienced the same.

My Monday to do:

Up from 1:30 am with DD. Almost called out of work for the day but managed to get an hour of sleep from 5:15 am to 6:15 am. I went in late, and still managed not going on anyone. A big feat.

Feed the dog
Walk the dog
Laughed at Mt. Washmore
Write in DD's book
Work
Call dr. about knee
Meeting with Behavior Analyst
Tried calling MomE. She, LindaBabe, and LovingtheMouse are at the Rock of Gilbratar today. I got a lady speaking ?
Oversee tubby time
Three miles on the bike
Early to bed
