I remember 9/11/01 like it was yesterday. I was living in Atlanta at the time and at work. My boss, and dear friend Margie, was on a plane to Boston from Atlanta that was to land in Boston at 9:02am. By 10AM, her roomate called in a panic asking if I had heard from Margie, she was extremely upset. We finally heard from her 30 minutes later. Everyone was glued to the TV in the breakroom. By 1pm they told us all to go home because they thought downtown Atlanta might be another target, Such a sad day, my thoughts and prayers to all the families affected of 9/11.

Today:
run errands
grocery shop
dust

wrapping gift for Saturday's wedding
yoga

Peace and Light to all today,
Becky

Both the planes that hit the WTC were from Boston, so I was sure we were going to be next (I'm about an hour outside Boston). It was terrifying. All I could think was what have I done to bring a child into *this* world.

Isn't it amazing that certain events in our lives leave such a lasting image that we actually remember where we were and what we did? I was in my classroom and the principal came and told each teacher, silently, after the first plane struck. We were allowed to turn on our TV's after a brief, not panicky, explanation to our students (7th graders then). I do have some friends who lost family members that day. It was such a sad commentary to watch everything unfold.

afternoon all

prayers for the 9/11 famillies. my cousins had friends on both planes out of boston that day....... I remember going home to get a TV to bring back into work so we could see what was going on. I told mom not to turn on the tv unless the boys were asleep, well Levi woke up and saw the replay he was just over 3 for days he walked around going planes hit the building BIG fire mommy........ for years after that he was scared of big buildings.

I have a small list left
drop Levi to hay field
clean out fridge
homework super
dinner
scrap
send boys to bed EARLY

Have a great pm all
