It's Friday!!!!

I have to go back to work, and work the weekend... But I had a lovely time on the new boat. DS21 was there too....He and DH both caught fish but the new pink rod didn't bring me any luck this time But I had a blast, and got to spend some nice family time with DS21 for a change

Now back to the Daily Grind...


My List for Today:

Caffeinate

This repeats every day!!

Work till 3p

Call Blue Cross again, call hospital again...this hospital bill is just insane!



Upload pics...got a ton of them... have to find a coupon...

Pay some bills

DD to XC practice *might let DH sleep in since he is technically on vacation again! LOL*
empty dishwasher
sweep kitchen/dining room
finalize grocery list
pick up DD from XC
grocery store
other store shopping
remember $$ out for lunches (next wk school starts)
make sure kids have their rooms cleaned
DH to have DsS15 sign grade expectation contract (he is the one that won't put forth any effort and likes to skate by)..
finish Parrot elements
bag parrot elements
put extra envelope in w/ the elements and send them off on Saturday so I can have that done and gone! Yeah! (almost swap free again permanently!!!)
kit more pages for next week (have about 20 ready to go)
order free photos from artscow (just pay shipping)
order 365 photos
update 365 pages
work on LO for challenge (scrap challenge)
pull some of photos from Disney 2008 and use swap elements to finish those pages
update calendars w/ DS8's football schedule (3 conflicts w/ DD's XC schedule.. I'll take 2 and Dad will take one of DD...luckily non of the soccer games are in the AM so no conflicts there)....

got a mile long list but I'll keep it to myself...

My kids love the dentist..but it helps that he is a family friend in real life.. they knew him from the time PJ was 4!
Now I'm trying to convenience him to help pay for college since he's around so much! lol!

go grocery shooping for food sales BJ's (library is having a big fundraiser)

Walmart for few thing not needed in large quantity
home unload everything find room in my tiny fridge really missing my extra one
bank for start up change (need to get check book from dad)
make maccaronni salad
pull out out stuff for yard sale table ($10 to the friends group we keep the rest)
have a drink
go help set up 20x40 tent
have another drink wil pricing stuff to load
load Sequoia with stuff then load truck with extra stuff
find all the other supplies needed
crash into bed 6 am is going to come EARLY

Good morning, everyone!! It's FRIDAY!!!! Woohoo! Today is the 1st day of school with students for us. It's been a WILD & CRAZY week! I think everyone has a schedule, though, so we should be ok today (fingers crossed that I'm right about that!!).

Here's my list for today:

1. Up
2. Caffeinate--a must!! The past 2 nights DS has decided to get up at 3.
3. Get outfit for DS
4. Take DS to Mom's
5. Get lunch from Mom
6. Work
7. Pick up DS
8. Walk
9. Fold laundry
10. Go shopping with DH & DS? It's tax free wknd here
11. P365 pic
12. Plan out rest of wknd
13. Watch rest of "So You Think You Can Dance". I don't know who won!! SHHHHHHH!
14. Collapse in bed!!

Hi Everyone!

well it's friday. i made it through the week alone at work. and it's only 1/2 day. thank goodness.
i think i've pulled a muscle and it's pulling my rib on of place. it's almost like an actual knife stabbing pain when i move a certain way. i think i did it cleaning out mom's apartment. i can't lay down. which is ok, 'cause i'm not sleeping anyway. so i sat in the chair all night. i'm exhausted. i've got to go have it looked at today, after work. i think i'll call the chiro and see if they can squeeze me in. i sure hope so. it brought me to my knees a few days ago. that's how intense it is. *sigh* something else to deal with.

so my list is short....

ds, up dressed, breakfast, camp
me work -'till noon
call dr
dinner? who the heck knows??
(i've got to get back to my menu planning and grocery shopping.*sigh*)

it's been 4 weeks today. and it's really not getting any easier. i'm barely making it day by day. why?

i have not been posting because i feel like sad sally. i never have anything good to say. it's been all bad. sorry you guys. i feel like doom and gloom over here.

i just miss her so much! my heart is broken.

Holly- iot is undersatndable that you are still feeling sad and we cantake it- we love whether you are happy or sad- we stick with each other through thick and thin not just the good times- post and let us do our best to comfort you some- sometimes just getting it out helps and we are all okay with that.

Oh Holly my heart is aching for you. I realize it feels like forever but it hasn't. 4 weeks is really a short time to morn someone like your mom.
Don't stay away just cause you feel like a sad sally lean on us that's what we're for. And I can't lie to you all these little mile markers are going to hurt for a while. the holidays and birthdays will be the worst. My youngest was 3 when he lost his MeMe and not a day goes by that he doesn't sleep with the bear she made him. He's 8 and it's a good thing he can't get into this account cause he'd never speak to me again for that comment.
Holly hold on tight to your memories, remember she's not in pain anymore and can freely do all the things she loved, it's been a long week at work and your body is hurting(it's probably telling you to take a nice weekend off and enjoy your DS and DH. Go do something in honor and memory of you mom, make memories for Bubba and you'll come through. time is the only healer and it takes time. Just be glad you don't have my idiot FIL to ruin memories at everyturn. Nan can tell you I had to vent to her one day it was so bad! (and now I'm considering a restraining order.) Remember your Mom loves you and is very proud of you she knows you're hurting but she'd also want to see you smile!
Hugs my friend and please don't try to keep your grief to yourself we are here for you.

Holly, I hope you feel you can turn to us. Don't keep these feelings in, you need to talk about it. Of course you feeling terrible, you love your Mom very much. You were blessed to have her not only as your Mom but your best friend too.

Please call the dr as soon as the office comes in. You need to be well physically so you can take care of yourself emotionally.

Your Mom is with you, in your heart and in your memories. Are you writing all of it down? Bubba is going to want to read it some day and it will help you.

We are here for you honey.

I'm at work. Had an okay day at the beach yesterday. It was a bit overcast, but that was fine, because it would have been too hot if it hadn't been. Morgan had a BALL in the water with her cousin, they buried each other in the sand, played on the boogie board, and just had a fun fun time.

I'm exhausted, the bed was too short, the room was so flippin' hot with no air moving through the windows, Morgan is a mover and a shaker all night long and she sleeps HOT and she got up at 5:56 (but she was awake and woke me up around 5:00 am). It was a rough night. I had to count mile markers to make it back safely on the drive though! Last night was much better at home, I have to work all stupid day, but I'm going to Joann's after work for fun stuff!

Horse barn is in Madera - usually run errands on Fresno side - hmmmm - guess maybe I will go to town after DH gets home tonight and do grocery shopping. Best go find something in the freezer to dig out. At least here on the ranch there is always beef in the freezer.

Car is good, it took forever though!! Then we went to the chiro, I cold not sleep last night I hurt so bad. We had to do 3 different positions to get it adjusted. And we went out for Thai food.
Didn't get much done but that's ok, there is always tomorrow.

Lisa, I told the kids about mucking stalls if they make messes, DH said the second person to spill anything has to muck them barefoot! LOL

The dentist went very well, very, very well. That kid always makes a liar out of me. LOLWe did go out to breakfast beforehand with Grandma. DD did so well, it's the last day of school, Grandma and I were talking, DD was finished with her breakfast and signed that she wanted ice cream, how could I say no. Grandma and I had another cup of coffee and DD had her coffee ice cream. The dentist said whatever we did we should do the next time. Hey, doctor's orders are doctor's orders.
