It's Hump Day!!

I had a great bday yesterday. People at work threw me a party, some even came back in after working all day and made me feel so special!! The potluck was such a hit everyone says we need to do it more often! Yumm-o!

Lisa- how sad! Sending P&PD to the families. Such a tragic event!

Good morning!! Deb, I'm glad your birthday was great!

Definitely sending p&pd to the family whose house burned!!

A Blythe update--she had her weekly eye exam, and things continue to look good! My brother & SIL get to stay at the hospital ALL weekend (24 hours a day) this weekend to "practice" with her oxygen monitor (she just needs a little). That means coming home is getting closer!!!

Here's my list for today:

3. Shower & get ready
4. DS's stuff together
5. Dust living room
6. DS up
7. DS to mom's
8. Work
9. Pick up DS
10. Laundry
11. Have a fun evening just me & DS--DH has a mtng!
12. Work on swap group
13. Dinner--??? Whatever he wants!
14. Go to sleep sort of early!! This week is wiping me out!

Wednesday - last day this week before my boss goes on vacation, so it should be kind of mental. Greaaaaaaaaaat.

Morgan is off to camp. I can't remember today's theme, I hope I have everything she needs. Yesterday was "Carnival" day and she wore all pink and went as cotton candy.

Yay for Blythe! She's going to be home before they know it!

Pasta and sauce tonight, unless it's too hot to cook, which it may well be. Supposed to be in the 90s again today!

thanks for the thoughts for our friends. Didn't see them yesterday but I'd imagine that the chimney will be down shortly and they are only trying to find the kids silver spoons that Tonyas grandmother gave them. Remind Tom to come home that way and check in on them (if they are there).

Welp I'm off to work with bubba today. He fell at camp yesterday and banged his head. And Wednesday is field trip day at camp and sign ups were last Friday and we were at the "world" so we missed it. My coworker is off on Friday this week to start her vaca so he will work with me then too.

Trying to get my act together. I'm having a tough time getting back to the regular life.

Order pizza strips for Saturday. Is on my list for today!!!!

Fun day here!

DD is celebrating her birthday (early) with friends today. I will spend today with a bunch of teens, riding buses and trains, zooming around Boston harbor on a boat, getting soaked, eating/shopping at Faneuil Hall, and getting ice cream!

Then back to the grind...!

Christy, I hope your friends are able to collect as many of their possessions as possible. I can't even imagine going through something like this. How painful... Hope they can find their spoons and other family treasures.

up (was up all night; DS9 didn't feel well but slept the entire night.... : me not much at all)
DD up and to XC practice
DS14 up and ready
DD to bring DS14's friend home to wait for next practice
gather soccer boys and go pick up extra kid
DS14 & friends to soccer practice #1
home and get chores done here
take all soccer boys I'm responsible for home
DS14 to shower quickly and eat
go register DS14 for HS!!!
come home
go back and register DD for HS!!!
come home (have to rotate the kids because I'm not dragging 3 additional kids into the HS chaos)
note to myself to pay book rental on line x 3 kids sad: )
write check for this month's college tuition for eldest ss

take DS14 & friend back to soccer practice #2 (time changed due to heat index...5-6 inside running.. Lucky for us we have an AT that is on the ball and keeps things taken care of and makes the coaches adhere to the heat index rules by the HS association!)

It was a long day at work today, but we unpacked all the boxes from the truck and we have the Halloween aisle completely stocked!!!!! That's all I've done today and I'm getting DH to pick something up on his way home for dinner, because I'm pooped. Then, I'll be to bed early because it'll be another long day at Michaels again tomorrow!!
