We still don't have power. DH and I are both working, Morgan is at my niece's who still has power, with my sister. They are planning to get a feather in her hair and find stores that are open to do some shopping. I realllllllllllly hope we have power when I go home this afternoon.

We played cards and stuff until it got too dark to see, it was fun, but one night is enough.

I hope damage for everyone is minimal!

Good morning :)

I hope clean-up goes smoothly for all my east coast friends and that there was minimal damge to your homes.

We are into a "normal" school day routine at our house :thumbsup2 Which means I'll devote today to the event swap.

Rebecca, what a wonderful thing to plan each week!

With DH's job we never get weekends together so we are making an effort to really get time together k\now that he is out of school- today we went riding in the convertable with the top down, went out to a late breakfast, and discussed a really cool new idea for discipleship in church as well as put together a couple of proposals for tonight's finance meeting.

Rebecca

What day is it? Monday? Between being on vacation, the storm, and no power, I've lost all sense of time.

Woke at 3:15 am to..crickets. Ah, the wind had stopped blowing but still no power.
Woke back up again around 7:00 am.
DH made steak and eggs for breakfast. He had already been out walking the dawg and taking pictures of the trees down around the village.
Cleaned up branches and twigs on the yard.
Mowed the yard
Brought plants, chairs, and lawn ornaments back outside
MomE and I went to see Sarah's Key.:guilty:
Went to Michaels - Love the Michaels near the Cape Cod Mall
Home
Made dinner
walked dawg
downloaded some books onto MomE's Kindle
