The Daily Grind ~ 8/22/14

Good Morning...

We got C settled in on campus and got him all set up. I left him with a small list of things to do, my last little bit of control for college life.. He has a good roommate and suitemates.. I think these boys will get along and have fun. PJ was able to come visit us for a couple of minutes on her breaks.. He did get a bit emotional when it was time to go... but PJ said when she was walking him back to the dorm (and I got an awesome photo of that) the boys were walking to go to an event and asked him to go with.. PJ went to same event w/ her floor residents. (her floor looks amazing.. need to get the photos uploaded). Left campus in tears and cried a majority of the way home.. but I know they are fine and will do amazing things...

DS13 is having a rough go with this.. He went to bed last night and I went to check on him...and I saw he was crying.. he said "he was alone and that he didn't like that".. poor guy.. made me cry just a bit more.. but I promised to have his back and fight with him whenever he wanted...

make DS13's lunch
get D13 up for school ---- no football tonight
take DS13 to school
try to rest a little bit
scrap
run an errand
pick up DS13
dinner
figure out plans for weekend.. think scrapping to keep my mind off things...

Good Morning and TGIF!

As today is Joe's Friday off, we got an early start by dropping his car off to be serviced and then went out to breakfast
Back home now, morning chores completed with just a few things left on my to do list:

switch up plants from patio to porch. Hibiscus plant is more like a small tree now and needs to go to the patio!
repot a plant
pick up car
Joe to PT this afternoon
scrap

Nan - Glad you got DS all settled in, sorry to hear that your youngest is taking it hard, poor boy! It's such a big adjustment for everyone
