It's the last day of July, can't believe the summer is almost over. One of my sisters is a kindergarten teacher in Georgia and classes start for them TOMORROW! My other two GA sibling school teachers start back on 8/8!

It's also the 2nd anniversary of Mom's passing. Can't believe she has been gone for two years, still miss her soo much...

it is hard to believe July is at an end! Megan goes back Sept 2nd, but August is going to fly by....

she leaves for sleep away camp on Sunday and gone to Saturday...please keep her in your thoughts, she's worried a little that something might happen to me, they aren't allowed to bring phones, etc so she has no way to check in with me.
The next week she has performance team camp M - Th for a couple hours each day and then might be working the princess camp the following week at dance again.
Still have to finish up back to school clothes shopping, waiting on school supply list from school and will be gone the weekend of 23-24 for friends wedding.

figure out what else Megan needs for clothes - grandma got her a few shirts and sweater yesterday.

Poppins2000 -wasn't on yesterday but read your post about DH - sure hope he's getting better! - wow on back to school already! - my mom's been gone 16 years and I still miss her -

coffee with Dsil - it's her 43rd anniversary (we're married to brothers)
laundry
dishes
vacuum
still need to start a new scrapbook - not sure why it's so hard to get started!
supper - spaghetti

lots of changes around here and I'm not sure I like change!
friends left today - moving out of state - other friends told us last night they sold their house and are moving downstate - sis & bro-in -law are gone till next July

Best Buy for new phone for Julia, hers has stopped taking/making calls altogether now, but since it is 6 years old I guess it isn't so bad

Good Morning!!

I was up all night last night... I too do not like change Chae unless I initiated it!! I was also going over all our finances in my head w/ 3 in college; DsS back home and our middle schooler.. it's all there but it's just those things of making sure it's all there a thousand times over... all this while the rest of the house sleeps peacefully!

Today's agenda:

up at 5:30am to sit w/ DS18 while he got ready for work
send DS18 off to work.. I am so proud of him... he gets up on his own, is cool enough to switch w/ his coworkers at a moments notice even when he would love to sleep in or come home and take a nap...
see DH of to work... he had to go into the office today for some meetings
await DD and DS13 to get up
twiddle my thumbs to see if the other one gets up and goes job hunting (I told DH if nothing was found then next week is by blow the gasket week!)
once over house
finish laundry (1 load in dryer; 1 in washer and I'm done)
try to scrap (I have 60 pages waiting for either titles or journaling to be done.these are easy to accomplish just need the motivation)
shopping lists for tomorrow/pull coupons
load and run dishwasher (since DD entertained family friend's children; DsS went to event w/ his mom--- we took the kids out to eat to just get a change of pace)
review my scrapping goals for the rest of the year
review my must do scrapping goals for this weekend (I can bring 4 things current by this weekend!)
make big kids cleaning supply list for Saturday's trip
make sure I have all the khaki shorts ironed and shirts pulled for our family (5) photos; I scheduled this as a tradition when each big kid goes off to school we get a family photo done.


Ok, I better get started..

I also think some of my stress is because my girl leaves for school next Thursday... so I will be alone with all these BOYS! LOL

Every week in August something big is happening around here... guess I should get ready for the ride of emotions coming!

Good Afternoon!

It has been a good but busy morning! I went walking with a friend out on the old 7 mile bridge(the path is only 4.5 miles there and back)- it was really pretty and we did see a ray swimming under the bridge with it being lobster mini season we did not expect to see much wildlife. Then I got a call from the organization we are looking to adopt through and got a schedule for classes- we should be done with classes by mid-September- very excited!

Chae- I don't like change too much either and we have had lots with moving (although we wanted to move)
Nancy- good luck with the boys and the emotions- kids growing up is harder on mom than anyone I think

dinner- supposed to be wing night- but I will see how DH is feeling after lunch
