Today's agenda:

up
DH movin' taking DD w/ him to go get her car brakes done
DD up to go with Dad
DS19 up and ready for class
once over house
make sure DS14 is up by noon (he is off of practices this morning so he sleeps in. )
work on some traditional/PL pages from our Christmas trip (I need to pull my stash of premade pages from our swaps).
clean up my scrap desk and get my next set of paper piecings ready to cut.

Good Morning!

P and PD to all

highs and lows yesterday for Megan....picked her up from school and she started crying as nine of her friends were piling into two cars next to us, all invited to one of their friends house for a good-bye party for one of the girls who is moving in a couple of weeks. not sure what the invited list consisted of, guess the worst of it was Megan knew something was going on as they were hiding the event from her. She knows she won't always be invited to everything, but girl who hosted in was where they went for homecoming dinner and had invited Megan to her birthday. Hard thing on the last day of school to deal with, will wait and see what the girls do with summer hang out plans.
came home and she let it all out, we got ready and they she got happier....I officially have a new driver in the house! got her permit, went to her favorite Chinese restaurant for lunch and spent an hour or so driving in a parking lot, she did pretty good! proud of my girl!!

lazy morning - yes was up at 5:00 but can hang out and stay in PJ's for a while

both of us to work at LSS for a couple hours

Supper at the lake - the other family is cooking tonight

Awww, poor Megan - that's rough and on the last day of school! Brings back memories of when I was her age, I can totally relate! Sending her lots of hugs and a BIG congrats on getting her permit!!

Sorry for Megan's rough day. It is hard when girls do that.

Today is up in the air we are in Homestead for awhile shopping and visiting did then we have a funeral to attend.

Girl drama bites!! Been there and dealt with that myself and with PJ.. It's bad. and when you are a mom it's worse because your mom instinct comes out and you want to stop the pain and bop a few girls.. But you did good by letting her express her feelings and then taking her out do something for herself!! She will be a better person because of this because she is one that takes into account others feelings and doesn't hurt others! Tell her not to let it get to her, easier said than done...but she will prevail by being the stronger one!!

I hope you all have a good day... It is HOT here. it's 81 at 11:45am.. the sun is beating down but I do see some gray clouds... but considering our town seems to have it's dome back in place the rain or storms will probably go around us yet again..

We need to go back and get PJ's car after bit... evidently the caliber pins that have something to do with the brakes were sticking and that is why she went through her brakes so fast... It took a little longer to fix because the pins were stuck and he called to get them new instead of trying to clean up and fix the others.. He was like no way.. wouldn't let me teen drive like that won't let yours.. Good to know!

Ok, I'm hoping to work on some scrapping after lunch.. I am going to take over the kitchen table for a few hours... I am on a mission.. Oh, and I need to seal up some page protectors with my fuse tool to make panoramic page protectors for the Epcot pages.
