The Daily Grind - 5/29/11

It's graduation party day!!!!!!
3 days until Graduation
5 days until WDW trip!!!!!

My day:
Clean up my mess from everything yesterday so that the house isn't too much of a disaster when MIL and SIL arrive
Make fruit kabobs
Get other foods together and make sure I have containers for everything
Double check list and make sure we have everything
Get DH to entertain MIL and SIL since they are arrived HOURS before the party - maybe they can go with him to get ice and then they can pick up subs for lunch.
Make Disney sign for party
Load up truck
Set up at pavilion - hopefully nobody has made themselves at home in it since I've paid $$ and have a reservation. They'll get kicked out if they have!
Fire up grill - no new one, DH said old one is fine
Party!!!!!
Clean up
Fall asleep instantly once we get home!

Today's list is very, very simple~
Spend the day with my family celebrating the fact that 15 years ago today, I gave birthday to a beautiful baby boy, C!!!!!

We are bowling, eating out, whatever he decides next, shopping.... and then whatever he decides after that..

we had a wonderful breakfast with Chelsea and her family (MAW/big give) such a sweet family!

went to Ikea afterwards...been debating on rearranging my scrap area and getting another desk instead of working on the card table in the middle of the room...found two shelves for us to use for display and a couple new storage items....so going to work today on getting things moved around and ordered my other desk yesterday from the Container Store! will post photos when its complete!
my mom is having some work done at her house, so when the contractor is done, he'll come over to hang my shelves and put in my ceiling fans!

went to dinner last night at friends, my friend has been dealing with a lot of stomach issues the last nine months....they think they have finally pinpoint it, she might have Celiac (sp) so no more gluten! she is trying a no gluten diet for the next couple of weeks and then they will go from there! anyone have any words of wisdom or help I can share with her???

so today:

move my scrap furniture around
have megan go through her things for donations and long term storage
bring load to storage unit
grocery shop on the way home
reorganize my closets since will have taken out storage bins to storage
dinner - something easy from store, I'm gonna be a tired lady tonight!

Pool party! Today is my sister's birthday and nobody loves a reason to party more than she does. Morgan ended up spending the night there last night, along with Sophie too.

I've got my dips done, so all I need to do is get there. Party starts at 2:00, so I think we'll run to Jo's beforehand and get some foam for the outside chairs that the squirrels ruined this winter so DH can do those tomorrow, along with some more 50% off clearance fabrics for my bags.

I am at work today.

Dbf and girls are working on finishing up the list from yesterday.

Going to order my new cricut on lunch today. Mine is just frustrating me to no end. Wont cut worth a darn. Just gotta nurse this one a little while longer. Need to get my swaps finished up.

Today DH and I had a day date. We went to see PotC, enjoyed it.
Out to lunch
Lowes for wood
veggie stand for veggie garden plants and fresh veggies for the week.
home to sit by the pool. DD has been in the pool since 3:00 pm, it is now almost 8:00 pm. Good thing she has her wet suit on.

Lisa, yup its the machine.Even with new mats and new blades it just isnt right. Its been acting up a lot lately. my first one did the same things, making not so round circles and not cutting right at all, getting kind of loud, and it really has a hard time cutting the disney font. But this one isnt under warranty any longer. Something may have happened to it in one of the moves. I was going to upgrade to the new one, but with it blocking SCAL, I'll just get a new old one.
