morning all! hope everyone is feeling well and happy!!!

went to middle school meeting last night....feel so much more comfortable with Megan going! the principal and the few teachers there were very nice and friendly....got to talk to the school counselor a bit, we will meet up when school starts....they have LOTS of great incentives for the kids, a PRIDE Club where they earn "seals" for different things with monthly treat's and trimester parties, etc. the school is pretty new and open! I signed up for BookFair, Student Store and Teacher Appreciation for now, will also do my classroom volunteering if needed.

Cheryl good luck to the girls on their finals!!!

my day:

Cheryl, good luck to your girls on their finals.
Lisa, I'm glad that you like the middle school. You are going to be busy with all the things you signed up for!

DS is finished with high school!!! All that's left is graduation next Wednesday (June 1). He's very happy and ready for a fun summer and then college.

My day:
Laundry
Clean
Bills
Pull stuff together for tonight's class
Make card for friend
Pick out photos for DS's grad party banners
Start working on DS's graduation party banners and decorations
Work on swaps
Teach scrapbook class
Hopefully get home in time to see the last few minutes of DWTS! (I'm rooting for Hines)

Have a great day!

Good morning!

Cheryl-good luck to your girls!
Lisa-her middle school sounds great!
Stephanie-congrats to your grad!!!

Busy, busy week-our last week of school. DS14 has his last full day of school today, then he has finals the rest of the week. DS8 & DS6 have all had special things going on at school this week, and yesterday was Dneice's 7th birthday. :cutie:

Today I'm working on swaps, laundry, etc.... then tonight we're going to the Buffett concert. I see a sleepy day in my future tomorrow.;)

Hope everyone has a great day!!!:)

:yay: for Andrew!!!

Cheryl ~ congrats to the girls for being almost done..
Lisa ~ glad you are more at ease with the middle school. We have had NO tours of the school for the kids or the parents... thankfully it's the mirror image of the 7 & 8th grade wing for the 5 & 6th grade wing...and the teachers are pretty much the same as when 5 & 6 were in the upper elementary...but the poor 5th graders are going to the new school blind... :( Of course the principal is a complete jerk...so it's par for the course!!!

We have 1 school day left; finals day and they are done.. yes, they have finals on the very last day of school... our school does NOT even do awards for our high schoolers any more..(nor pep sessions) and they wonder why the kids don't have much school support...seems to me..the SCHOOL lost the support of it's kids...so it trickled down to the kids not supporting the school... Hello!!! Easy way to fix this!! But we are just stupid tax-paying parents! Ok, that's my vent for the day!

Today:
finish cleaning DS's room
scrapbook some pages
kit some pages to scrapbook tonight while at DS14's soccer photos/practice
dinner
dinner menu for June
start grocery list
start shopping list
nail DS14 down for a birthday list... at 14 doesn't really help with "surprise me"... really, really... you have to want something....

Anne--good luck to your DS!

Lisa--I'm so glad you had a good night and are feeling more comfortable with the middle school. I think elementary to middle school/junior high was the hardest transition for my girls and they didn't move until 7th grade.

Ya! for the last days of school. We dont get out until June 22nd and then return Sept 7th!!

I am thinking of switching DD over to the school closest the new house. She and DD#2 would ride the bus together. If the Kindergarteners get picked up in the morning. I despise afternoon kindergarten especially for DD#2 she would drive me nuts with what time is it questions. But I may put her in the private Montessori Kindergarten like we did for DD#1, just have to convince ex to help pay for it. She really isnt ready for the public Kindergartens here. hmmm should make some phone calls

Today is PJ day!!

Take DD#1 to school
Home
rotate laundry
-maybe fold
Work on swaps and cleaning up my scrap area
Shop for a new cricut, mine is dying hasnt been cutting right for awhile and last night ate more paper that was totally necessary.
Order SCAL 2 before its gone
Dinner- maybe fried chicken and macaroni salad
Pick up DD#1 from school
Relax
Bed early

Have a great tuesday!!

Hello All! I did not fall off the Earth or complete the Rapture!!:lmao:

Survived the County Fair!!

In pjs here - lots of laundry to do.
clearing piles

Hope everyone is well! We are not out of school for 2 more weeks. LOTS of stuff packed into those last school days! Middle school orientations?? Hmmmm better check into that though not sure I am sending DD to the middle school - will be checking our options this summer.

Anyone homeschool??

Have to go to Fairgrounds (ugh not again) to pick up scrapbookers pages. Everyone received blue ribbons - though 4 of the 7 did not meet guidelines?? Not sure how that works.

Need to push them to finish their projects. Maybe a crop day?? EEK Last time we tried that I ended up at Childrens hospital with DD3 and a mild concussion.

Alright need to change laundry and call Fair Office.

Ok having a mini freak out!! :scared1::scared1:

The property management company called to say that they current guy will be out June 15th and can we move in June 20th? Less than a month from now, a month earlier than we were expecting.

Not to mention it is dance recital week

So all plans are shot for today. going to have to get all my swaps done and out. however I have been looking for mover quotes so they can move us all in one day. :thumbsup2

Ok off to finish up lunch.

I feel better now. :)

Yeah, I think I see the sun. going to enjoy it before the rain returns.

My Tuesday to do:

Feed cats
email helper about dentist appt for DD next week
caffeinate
work
meeting with case worker
dinner - lobstah ravioli!!
oversee tubby time
get a few minutes of scrapping in. :goodvibes
Send birthday card to my favorite soon to be 3 year old
talk to my favorite soon to be 2 year old. (my friend's daugher got a hold of her cell phone and ended up calling me. LOL Hi, Miss Lucy)
watch DWTS. I really wasn't sure who would win. The popular vote could have gone any direction.
Looks to be another another all nighter. :headache:
