HUMP DAY!!

The bridal shower was a huge success! She was thrilled about the garden bucket giftie with all the tools! And the ribbon of $$ was so funny...started with 1s, then 5s, 10s, 20s... it was really too funny...

For everyone to have strength today. Yesterday there was a alot going on the list. Sending out P&PD to everyone!

Good morning! Halfway through the week! Yippeeee! 12 working days 'til summer vacation (counting today)!

Sending lots of P&PD to everyone hurting/struggling today! I couldn't comment on yesterday's thread for some reason, but I'm thinking of all of you!

Please remember Blythe and my brother & SIL in your prayers & thoughts. They discovered a cranial bleed yesterday in Blythe. They'll have to wait a week and do a scan again, but all we can do is pray that it stops.

Here's my list for today:

1. Up
2. Caffeinate
3. Pack lunches
4. Dust
5. DS's stuff together
6. DS up
7. DS to mom's
8. Work--graduation practice, end of year list, scheduling, FUN!
9. Pick up DS
10. Laundry
11. DH mows
12. Dinner--taco salad
13. Get stuff together for tomorrow night
14. Go to bed early!!

Pick up Eldest from school early.
Take Eldest for allergy shots.

Person to remeasure for kitchen doors. I get to order the doors today!
Take out the staples in part of laundry room floor. I didn't do it yesterday.
Work on swaps.
Reheat pasta for dinner.

8 Days till Disney!!!

Working today 11-7, so I got to sleep in a bit, which was great. It's pouring out, so I have a feeling today is going to be a slowwww day.

When I get home, I need to start a packing list, and start pulling things to put them in a bag so they're all together.


Keeping everyone in my thoughts today.

await mechanic to call w/ estimate on DD's truck..brake line broke..
get DH to finish entryway this afternoon... it's < > close and he isn't finished!
await 4-H scrapbook paper to arrive.. pull papers/ mat papers/ cut titles and put them together for the kids to work on 6/13.
track my swimsuits that are due here....
finish awards LO for 4-H book
work on Getting To Know our Member page for 4-H
look thru books for stool to cut (oh, I think I know where one is) on cricut
~ may need to tweak the legs for heigth (for 4-H banner)
list of supplies we need to buy for 4-H banner

grocery run (milk, syrup, soda, tylenol)
library to pick up books on Greece for DD's 4th research project due next week... I'm seriously over the last minute research projects and the fact that finals are next week on top of this.. In English 10.. she has 3 days of testing in it for state, 2 research papers, Lexile testing and common assessment and final in just this class in 7 days... seriously.... than the Principal is on my last nerve w/ his changes... well, the colleges don't let you exempt a final if you have an A... My email to him today stated that while Colleges don't let you exempt a final if you have an A in the class.. COLLEGES ALSO DON'T MAKE YOU TAKE 5 FINALS ALL ON ONE DAY EITHER! Ok, I could vent more but no reason.. it won't change..

DH is currently negotiating the details on that new job!! We are so grateful.

So, y'all will never guess what happened at work today!

The full time 3-11 opened up!!!!

The girl resigned yesterday. If it all goes through (and at this point I don't see why it wouldn't) the job is mine. AND they are making it even more for me by having the weekend rotation match DH's so I don't have to switch anymore to be off with him...

DH is thrilled, DS's were laughing... "wait mom, so you get the shift you have been wanting, and the rotation you have been wanting. You get away form Butthead and Minion, AND they are going to pay you more? SWEET!!!"

There was a rumor that "someone" was going to be leaving... then she let it slip on her facebook, but deleted it right away... I thought I was dreaming it, because it wasn't there anymore... but I had seen it, so I was hoping it wasn't a dream!

The big boss was surprised that I wanted to go back to 3s (I saw him today and he asked me direct if I really wanted it), but I don't think may others will be surprised. I had someone tell me the other day that we could be doing the same thing and I would get in trouble, and nothing would be said to her. So, if peoples are coming up to me saying that stuff, it's best I get the heck out of Dodge... KWIM!

Thanks to everyone who has been listening to me gripe and grumble for these past few months! Our little group on the DIS is just the best for when life hits you with a curve ball! I am thankful for you all! It's so great to have a place to share the good news and the bad! My bestest friends live in the gray box on my desk!

Busy busy at work today. I've started working longer hours to help pay for all the camps we need to do this summer, it's making for long long days.

I will keep Blythe in my thoughts.
