2 outta 3 is up. DD#2 has something kicking her hinney, not sure if its allergies or a head cold. she passed out at 730 last night and is still sleeping.

Afternoon everyone!!! I have been having a kick butt morning....
Here is the low-down...

Up
make bed
make DS10's lunch (DH works from home today)
put away dishes from last night
DS10 up, ready, bkft
make bed
DS10 on bus
older kids up
DD to skl early for meeting (meeting was a no show by sponsor; kids went to Principal to complain again... he was not a happy camper; not at the kids but the sponsor for being irresponsible AGAIN)
clean off basement couch
find budget binder (darn thing went AWOL after I fixed it)
check email/DIS
DH to take DS14 to skl
cut and organize my photos (I have Jan-April 2010 & April 2011 ready to scrap this month)
date w/ DH for lunch
store for mailing envelope
register DS10 for park program
mail 2 things out today
pick up kids
homework duty
snack
playtime
prep dinner: tuna casserole for the girls and hot dogs for the boys
figure out dinner menu tonight for next 2 weeks
get things ready for our newest addition: "It's a girl!!! Rabbit that is!"
DS14 to soccer practice
DS14 to take list to follow up w/ coach
DS10 to soccer practice
get note ready for DD17 to follow up w/ school about senior yearbook photo (doing them at school or at the specific place again???)
start notes of what we want from PJ's senior photos (SUGGESTIONS welcome; we are thinking: a barn; maybe great-great grandpa's old ford truck in black and white; lots of greenery; bridge; river scene; railroad tracks; waterfall; trash the PROM dress (water shots of the dress all wet).

Hello Everyone!!

Wow you girls are busy, busy, busy!! I guess I am too-usually. Today is a rainy/stormy day so kind of peaceful and sleepy. I should be working on finishing my Character swap sets right now but I have lots on my mind!! Hard to concentrate.

I have not been able to talk to anyone as I am sworn to secrecy by my DH but we are trying to sell our small business and start a new life as non- business owners!! We would like to focus on our charity work and family unit more. When you own a business, it seems the needs of all the customers and employees come first--we had a bit of trouble with some employees and felt the timing is just right for us to get out as DH has been stressed to his breaking point.
Very exciting time as I and our whole family have been waiting for a change-we love an adventure!!

Since we have a WDW vacation coming up soon--I joke that just like the World Series Winners or whoever when asked what they are going to do-they say I'm GOING TO DISNEYWORLD--well this is like our personal world series win and we are going to DINSEYWORLD--what a way to celebrate!!

Thanks Nan. It was a peaceful evening for sure. and we joked the fastest acting benadryl ever. she had a dose and in 15 mins she was passed out in the chair. She did say a little bit ago that her ears weren't clogged anymore. So I think we are good to go and the volume level is going down around here.

Thanks for the reminder Nan DD1 wants me to take her senior pics so I need to contact the school and get the jpeg size requirements for the yearbook pic (head & shoulders only; no distracting scenery or props). All the rest we can have fun with. We're thinking mountains; near or in the river/stream; marching band uniform; with all the instruments; and maybe something just crazy & fun. I need to scout settings and wardrobe soon

Good to know this is a promising move for you and DH (and of course the family)..sometimes it's just time to let it go and move on to better things...and to have a WDW trip in the mix already is that much better!!!!

Cheryl ~ we need to put a master list out and then touch base with DIT to make sure we haven't missed anything! LOL

OMG! You'd think I had asked her to photograph her own senior photos! Teens!!! I need DH to give his list too.. luckily the photographer we use for her regular senior photos is a family friend so we can get lots of photos taken... As for the yearbook... it was just this year that they went outside the school.. otherwise, they took them a registration in a "wrap" for the girls and coat and tie for the boys.. it looked so good.. this year.. who the heck knows what it will look like.... We also need to start working on our PDA's for the back of the book.. My parents and sister are buying a full page ad, and DH, I and the boys are buying a full page ad... I think FIL and great-gram are splitting a half page ad... I need to start working on that too.. those have to be submitted by Dec... paid for by Sept. I think... then we have to order cap/gown/stoles/tassels/announcements in Sept too.... (good thing I am a scrapper; I can make the open house and other announcements!)

How do you feel about graduating? This will be 4 pages, one for me, one for DH, one for her brothers and then one for her to fill in..
What are your goals after graduating?
What are your plans for graduation day?
Who were your favorite teachers?
What will you miss about school?

I still need to remember to make her the music CD of special songs like she asked for... Now, to figure out how to do that in this day and age... Remember when it was so much easier.. put a cassette tape in and record! LOL

I have to figure out this burning CD thing... I can burn photos to CD but haven't done anything besides that..

Aren't they amazing... I wonder if DH would haul my Granny's old bed out and buy a new mattress for PJ to have her senior photos taken with it on a bridge??? Granny gave me the bed and it will go to PJ when she gets her own house.. it was my great-grandmas... PJ uses the dressing table with mirror and it still has the original mirror in it.... I really like the suitcase idea... Need to start asking around about old suitcases....

Get thru meetings. I had requested under ADA all materials being presented via a projecter to be available to me as hardcopy as a result of my eye issues. None of the presenters provided. :/ terrible strain on me by the end of the day.
