have a great week everyone. I will be trying to thether my blackberry to my laptop so hopefully I'll have access. If not, then hopefully the hotel will have wifi in the lobby. I'll see ya when I can.:grouphug:

Orange County CA.

My sons flipped out. Dad is going to be a stones throw away from DisneyLand. You know, that place with the Nemo submarine ride? Yup, that place. Spring Break isn't until next week, so there was no way we could tag along even if we didn't have the puppies.

I get puppies and boys home alone until Friday. Then on Friday I get to drive to meet my ILs so the boys can stay there for Spring Break. If it's not raining, it's not a chore. But right now it is supposed to, so I'm dreading it. Hate rain, but hate the thought of DH having drive all they way down on Saturday after being gone for so long. I can suck it up, but I want my whine party first. ;)

Darn, I am going to be on the other coast line. I would have offered to take him to dinner. How come he gets the good spots while I'll have to be content with the cherry blossoms?:confused3 :)

PN~ Dep on Drivers licence? I wonder if we have that too? Ive never heard of that before.

PO3~ good thoughts for mom and your little one!

Safe journeys for everyone travelling!
Thanks for the b-day wishes. He's going to be embarrassed but also love them!
:hippie:

Deposit is on the driver's ed.. not the license.. It cost 400 to take driver's ed now... :( You have to put a 200.00 deposit on the class to guarantee you a spot...about 2 months in advance because there are only certain driver's training schools in Indiana that are certified by the state that will allow the kids to take the driving portion of their test early..... It's nuts...she has to take the class 2 hours a day for 20 days or more.. can't remember off the top of my head... (driver's ed in my day cost my parents $15.00 and was a class we could take in school and we could leave school for an hour to drive w/ a the driver's ed teacher during our study halls)

Mornin. I feel awful. Cough (hurts!), congestion, headache, blah, blah, blah, blech. We'll see how much I get done today.

Wow, that's a lot of $$ for driver's ed. My DS had driver's ed last fall and it was free. It was through the school and it was just another class on his schedule. They had a regular teacher who taught them and took them around the course we have at the school and then a guy from the DMV who travels to all the schools and came by once a week to test the kids that are ready.

Lisa, have a great trip!
AWM, good luck on puppies and boys on your own this week!
Aroyer, I hope you get to feeling better. :hugs:

Aroyer - feel better!
Lisa - enjoy the cherry blossoms!

Nope, they are killing us with the fees.. rumor is they want the kids to have 80 hours drive time w/ a professional before their license.. we'll great and dandy but no one in this day can afford the cost for that..and you know DD will have way more than 80 hour drive time w/ DH and I because she has to get experience...and she can't get her license til Dec 1 anyway...so she'll have 7 months of drive time!!!!
