Have a Great Day Everyone!!!!

Good morning!! Only 29 working days (counting today) until summer vacation!!

Today is the beginning of my "get healthier, stress less" challenge to myself! I am posting that because I feel accountable to y'all, so maybe I'll keep up with it. I have made out my little things to do list in my notebook, and I'm going to try to split it up so as to not stress so much! AND I finally joined the online Weight Watchers, so we'll see how that goes!!

Here's my list for today:

1. Caffeinate!!
2. Drop off DS
3. Take bag to my mom's
4. Pick up DS
5. Get giftie bags from my mom's
6. Clean DH's bathroom
7. Pics from the weekend from camera to computer
8. Email Stanley's adventure pics to Nan!
9. Fix CD for SIL
10. Fix new CD of pics for work
11. Wash laundry
12. Fold laundry
13. Journal some in my mom's album
14. Walk & stick to points!!

Everyone have a wonderful Monday!!

Good morning, good morning! The rain came down last night and cool things off a little, today and tomorrow it will go back up to the high 80's perhaps low 90s. Drop down to more seasonable weather on Wednesday.

SIOH, I find if I say I am eating healthier, (rather than I am dieting) I stick to it more. Healthy is good for us, we deserve good, dieting sounds like we are depriving ourselves, and that sounds bad for us.

My to do list:

Throw in a load of laundry. For the first time ever, I am nearly caught up with my Mt. Washmore (for today, I am sure that will change by tomorrow).
Write in DD's communication book
Work
Meeting at 1:30
Stop at pharmacy to pic up prescription
Take DD to baseball practice
Pack for tomorrow's business trip.

morning all!

well it's Monday again! how'd that happen??;)

ds, up dressed breakfast bus
prep supper???
work
call mom's dr. still not feeling well.
call rite aid. they had an automated call last night saying mom has a prescription needing to be picked up. :confused3
check on bubb's swim schedule.
look at sale flyer's from yesterday's paper.
finish sports swap.
work on mt. washmore. & try to keep up with it all week.

have a great & happy monday everyone.

brooke- i agree with lisa. i have to say i'm eating healthier. just the word diet makes me eat more!!!!:rotfl:

Brooke, good luck on your plan. It sounds like you've made a good one.
Holly, I'm sorry your Mom isn't feeling any better. I hope you can get her into the doc's today to find out what's up.

My day:
DS to school
Laundry
Clean kitchen
Tidy up from weekend
Scout paperwork
Try new recipe for dinner (pineapple chicken with rice)

Oh yeah, and wait for vet technician's to arrive to take blood sample from T.K. (one of my cats). We took both cats to the vet on Saturday for their exams and T.K. was supposed to have bloodwork done. Well, they took him back and said they did it and they charged me big $$ for it, but then I get a call that they don't have a sample of it!:confused3 They want me to bring the cat back in. It is extremely stressful taking these cats to the vet because they both freak out completely and the one they wanted back pees because he's so scared and then turns into monster cat and attacks everyone. I said no. They then said they'd send someone to my house to do it for free. Well, yes, it better be free!!!!!! So, hopefully we can do this without freaking my cat out too badly.

oh good luck with TK. it probably just freaks him out going there. poor little thing. hugs for him.

Mornin'!!!
Debbie ~ heat wave is right.. we are due some rain today/tomorrow but it is still BEAUTIFUL and WARM!!! I'm lovin' it! DH said my spirits have done a 180!!! I get the winter blues but he said this year was not as bad as years past!
PO3 ~ my mom hates those CVS automation. She has asked numerous times to be taken off and still gets calls. I told her to call or write corporate to request to be taken off. She said she doesn't like to utilize the automated for fear her meds have changed and she get the wrong dose.
SIOH ~ Good luck! You can do it!!! :)
DIT ~ so sorry to hear about TK..and damn right it will be free.. Hello, you paid once already..no way should you pay again! Especially, when they dropped the ball on that one!

Good Morning Everyone-

SIOH- you can do it!
DIT- I hope everything goes well with the cat and of course it should be free.
Holly- I hope they can figure out what is wrong with your mom soon.

Today:
Exercise bike- 3 times
Walk- 6pm
work on scrapping/swaps
PO
dinner- ham, potatoes, green beans, bisquits
salad for lunch

I kept up through the weekend- well I did my time on the bike although it was in 2 groupings instead of 3, had salads foir lunch (even when we went out Sunday), and went on a longer walk Sunday night. I lost 3 pounds last week- so I am getting there a little faster than I thought. My goal was to lose at least 10 by June 1st and I am well on my way.

Rebecca

I'm working today, but back to my regular schedule, so only until 2:00.

Last night was a freakin' nightmare for sleeping! It was 84 in my house when I went to bed...I'm not a heat kind of girl! Supposed to be warm today, but nowhere near the upper 80s like yesterday. So much for spring!

After work I have to stop and get more water and a few other things at the grocery store. Then, I come home, get Morgan off the bus, deal with homework and a snack, and then we have to go to the library and pick out a biography for her next book report. I think it's time to stop the homework! Only 38 more school days for the year.

I read it all, but retained none of it, I'm just too tired!

Hope everyone has a super day!

Mornin.

SIOH- you can do it!
DIT- hugs to you and TK!
Holly- I hope your mom feels better!
Deb- we've had the air on for a few weeks now. It's been 80 for awhile now.

It's going to be a busy day. DS is running a low grade fever, so that may be my only deterrent.

Good morning!
I survived this wekkend: GS Bridging, sleepover (5 girls) and brothers 65th surprise birthday party! Got home rom the last one and DSIL called and asked if I could watch her granddaughter today! Love the child but was looking forward to no kids since I worked at the preschool all last week! (Thought I had quit there!) So Ive decided to let Banana stay home today because she is straight A's!
Today:
Take care of Camryn, whatever that entails!

DIT~ sorry about your TK, for those reasons I think I dont do cats
Rebecca~ good job on the 3lbs! Are you doing this for your trip?
SIOH~ good job joining ww! Its a great program! Im thinking of doing it myself
PO3~ keep us posted on your mom!

DIT~ OT~ saw the Chimney sweep page you did for the challenge~ is this the same boy who is sweeping all of these acting awards right now? Is so, he was foretelling of things to come!:goodvibes

Have a great day everyone!

Rebecca~ good job on the 3lbs! Are you doing this for your trip?

Have a great day everyone!

Well- I am putting the goal out at that time for the trip- although I eventually would like to drop 30 pounds- i can't try and do it all at once or I will give up. I need to drop 10 pounds by the trip so i am not wearing only sweats on the trip. i can't fit into anything else and I hate to shop. So it is more of a need to fit into my clothes and wanting to feel and look better, but the trip is a good starting point. On the trip I want to do my best to not gain more than a couple of pounds. We are going to be taking it easy and are on the regular dining plan and I will allow myself to eat what i want.

Rebecca

Good for you Rebecca, I know when I "eat healthy" I do a lot better than when I "diet." It makes me crazy how expensive it is to eat healthier than it is to eat unhealthy.

I just got an email from Morgan's softball coach! They are having her pitch the first three innings of the game tomorrow night (the first game of the season!). Here's hoping it's not the 90 degrees that they are forecasting! :scared1:

Go MORGAN!!!!! Here to her pitching a great game!

Rebecca

:yay::yay:GO MORGAN!!:yay::yay:

Rebecca, you are being very reasonable about it. Good job! I would like to take 30 more off too, before we go to the Baltics. When I had my gastric bypass my dr wanted to know why I wanted to wait until after November to do it and I told him we were going to WDW and he asked me if eating was an important part of that trip and after hmm and haa-ing I fainally admitted that it was and he told me that he was pleased that I admitted that it was and that he would schedule for after the trip.
So you should eat and enjoy it. It just means that after that Mickey Mouse ice cream bar you dont go have Schoolbread from Norway!:goodvibes

(I hate clothes shopping too! I only shop before I go on a cruise!)

Go Morgan!!!!!!!:cheer2:

Good morning!
DIT~ OT~ saw the Chimney sweep page you did for the challenge~ is this the same boy who is sweeping all of these acting awards right now? Is so, he was foretelling of things to come!:goodvibes

Yes, it's the same DS (the chimney sweep pictures are over 13 years old!). I guess I should have known then, that he was a showman!:rotfl:

I'm soooo proud of her. She has probably a pair of the least sporty 'rents she could ever have, and she LOVES softball (hated soccer, too much running ;) ). :cheer2:

Hey all! Late West Coast Poster here!!

Monday, Monday...

DD up and out the door
Little One up, fed, playing
Check on DH - moderate back pain - could be muscle - could be kidney stone
Find an alterations place
Call a new hair salon:scared1:
Mt. Washmore!! - Can it be I am down to 3 loads!?:cool1:
Dishes
Scrub shower doors
15 minutes in the office
15 minutes in the goodwill project - going through closets
Pull drycleaning to go
PU DD from bus
Dinner mtg with a builder at 5pm

OK- I do not like having to find a new hair salon and have been driving to my old one - 2 hours - but we have to attend a wedding this weekend and forgot to make appts BEFORE the wedding. DUH. They can't screw up just a bangs trim can they!!??? (I know the answer to this - I am askeered)

DH is having I think a kidney stone attack. This happened 2 years ago and at that time the scan showed one more in there. The Drs said - you just gotta wait it out. Well.... And it is screwing up my schedule!!:headache::rotfl:Plans mostly up in the air - we have to see how this goes. Currently he is laying on the bed all ready for work...Poor guy.

Let's see what else can I rant about!!?:lmao:OH...what would you all do. Swine Flu....12 confirmed cases in the county we are to travel to for this wedding. Right near the CA-Mexico border. Would you go? DD9 is to hand out programs. So involved in the wedding but not really in the wedding party...UGH. I guess if we develope symptoms when we get home we will know right....
