It's The Day Before Friday!!!

AWM- How is the puppy's leg? I haven't had 2 dogs from the same litter, but we have 2 that live together very well. When they were little, I had to establish I was "alpha". They all thought the boys were "alpha". What I did was sit on the floor with them and they had to lie there...no petting, I just sat there with my hand on the shoulder. If they moved, I didn't talk, I just placed them back, and we stayed there for like 15 min.. It really did make me boss, and that was most important. When I say no, they know I mean business. Bad behavior meant the kennel. They love the kennel, and go in there whenever they want, so it wasn't a bad thing...

Today I have to:

Mt Washmore

Dust and vacuum living room

Off day for me. I'm supposed to go shopping and out to lunch with BFF...if it falls through for some reason, I'm going to cry!!!

Swish and swipe potties

Shine my sink

Good morning, everyone!! It's THURSDAY!! YAY!

I did manage to get off from work tomorrow, so today is like Friday. Of course, I'll bring work home, but that's ok!! DH is taking off 1/2 a day, so we're going to start our weekend early!!

AWM--we had two puppies from the same litter (golden retrievers). They would snap at each other over toys, food, etc., for the first little while (until they were about 8 months-1 year), and then it got better. I don't mean constant bites that needed vet visits, just the growling/snapping. How is the puppy's leg today?? Hang in there!!

Here's my list for today--I have accomplished almost NOTHING this week!!:

1. Caffeinate
2. Drop off DS
3. Take clothes to my mom's
4. Work
5. Pack lunches
6. Pick up DS
7. Make packing list
8. Get books together for my brother
9. Pack stuff for the weekend
10. Clean either the kitchen or dust
11. Fold laundry before it takes over!!
12. Go to bed kind of early!!

i'm so super tired today. i took mom to dr's last night and did not get home until 8:30 and it just threw my routine off.

send paperwork to school w/bubba. they are doing mother/son bowling!
call hairdresser to verify appt.

Thanks guys. They are both acting like nothing happened. They played together just fine the rest of the day.
Will still call the vet when they open. Don't want it to get infected and then worse things need to be done to it. Pay that initial office visit now. Cheaper in the long run.

The hard part is doing anything with one of them, the other one won't go away. Has to paw, nose, bark at the one getting the "attention". Then the one getting the attention isn't paying attention to me. So right now I'm foodgirl, pooppickerupper, bestplacetotakeanap. Don't think that Alpha is in there yet.

Good Morning!

I've got the day off today. Morgan and I are going to the Children's Discovery Museum in Acton, MA this morning. We *may* stop at the mall on the way home, but I don't think so. We will have to find somewhere to have lunch though

After that, I have to hit the grocery store and find something for dinner and regular food for the weekend...Supposed to be a GORGEOUS weekend, so I'm hoping to get some stuff for the grill. I wonder if we have any propane?

Ooh, and it's Survivor date night. I think we need more ice cream

Ann, good luck at the vet, I hope it doesn't get infected. You'll figure the alpha thing out, the training is the best start they can have!

Nancy, your list always makes me tired! You're great at getting so much done in a day, can I take your class in Time Management?

Holly, do you know if that book sale is tonight? I don't know for sure if we'll make it, but I'd like to know if it's there, just in case Hope you get some caffeine in ya to wake up. How's Mom doing?

Have you ever been to the museum in Easton? that's also a good one. And the one in Providence is great too! that's where we had bubba's 5th birthday party. I love that one. We should get together and do them over the summer.

And Mom not to good today. they are dropping off a neb machine for her today. in fact i'm waiting for the guy to call right now. She can not get a cold. It takes FOREVER for her to shake it.

No, I've never been to either of those museums, I'll have to look into them. We went to the MFA in February, and will get to the Museum of Science before the frog exhibit is over. We're big homebodies, don't like to go too far

Sorry to hear about mom, I hope the nebulizer does the trick! I'm off mom duty today, since Morgan's on vacation, but I did speak to her this morning and she sounds better (she's been really depressed and they adjusted her meds, I think they're finally kicking in!).

Keep us posted on mom, let me know if there's anything I can do for you, I'm so close!

We've been grilling out for a few weeks now and it's awesome. Of course, DH just mowed the back yard and we got so much rain he needs to mow again. He's putting it off, so it may be awhile before we get back out there to grill.

My house is a wreck! My shoulder is giving me fits, its been so painful that I haven't been able to do much. Today is a new day!

Sorry about your Mom Holly.

The vet said I did it all right and to just keep putting hydrogen peroxide on it for next few days. As long as it doesn't swell or become warm to the touch, no antibiotics. He doesn't like to give medicine unnecessarily. Which I really like about him.

Dinner - pork roast is in crock pot
Check on pig - its really hot here

I think I have a dislocated tendon in my shoulder. This is what a massage therapist told me. It hurts something awful!

My DS just called and his group got scored straight superiors on their singing and dance number at the State competitions!!!!! That's the highest score they could get.

Rebecca, I always added cheese or hard-boiled eggs to mine. Meat on salads kinda weirds me out. Although as a child my mom used make this salad with lettuce, tomatoes, cubed cheese and tuna with Italian dressing. Loved it then, grosses me out now.
