I don't want a boy. I only wanted a girl (and I knew what I was getting into!). It was a stupid thing, and we've gone beyond it. No alcohol needed (tonight!).

Bad freakin' day already. I'm not going to make it through the 'tweens, I fear. Both of us crying before 7:30 am is just so freakin' pleasant. I suck at this mom thing.

Jenn, me and DD were pushing each other's buttons at 4:30 am this morning, I feel your pain. I agree, you have to chose your battles and decide in the light of all eternity it is horrible if she....eats your last donut?! Ok, PBF, you would have been justified in grounding!!! DD will often want to wear shorts in the winter, ok, but you are putting these sweats on over them.

Hang in there, if we survived our mothers, our daughters should survive us!!!!

Two days before formal portrait appointment at The Picture People (or whatever they called themselves...)

My DS did the haircut thing too. In kindergarten he and his friend wanted to see if their scissors would cut hair. His friend was smart and just cut a bit off the top where you couldn't see. But, not my DS. He cut a huge hunk out of his bangs right in the middle! And, it was the day before school pictures! I love that picture!!!!!!
