Happy St. Patty's Day.

Jennifer, I feel your pain. I too, woke to a killer headache. Actually it has been a nagging one for about a week. I was hoping the storm would ease it when it hit last weekend but nope. It is easing up tonight, thank goodness.

My to do list:

wood in the woodstove
write in DD's communication book
Chistle away at Mt. Washmore
DD up and ready for school
Caffeinate
Work
Dinner
oversee tubby time

Yesterday, was a special day! May I report two happy things that will hopefully make you smile?

There was an ermine on my patio and back step! That is only the second one I ever saw in the wild, and may be the last. If the snow wouldn't have all disappeared in the last day or two, I'd never have noticed him, so tiny and quick - and all totally white except for his eyes, nose and tail tip. By next week, it will probably be all brown, in it's summer coat.

Then, in the afternoon, we went for a walk on the bike path down by the river (where I saw my first ermine probably 10 years ago). Besides the usual ducks and geese, there was a beautiful, big bald eagle! It caught my eye floating over the river, hunting. Then it went and sat on a tree on a little island for quite a while. :goodvibes

WOW, Linda, that's awesome!!! What beautiful things to get to see!! :goodvibes
