8. Play outside with DS while DH mows (how can it be time to mow already?)

My DS leaves today for 5 days in Tampa at the ITS State Competitions. He'll be competing in an ensemble group musical piece, taking classes, and auditioning for scholarships. He's going to have a fun time, but my house is going to feel all empty without him here.

My day:
Make sure DS has everything he needs
Pick up DS's girlfriend
Drop DS and GF off at school
Work
Dinner - hamburgers
go to bed early as I know I'll be exhausted after truck day at Michaels!

SIOH - i chuckled when i read about mowing your lawn since mine still has so much snow on it.
DIT - hope your son has a magical 5 days in Tampa. Trust me, after 5 of mine "leaving", the empty nest syndrome gets easier. Tough at first though.
Deb - hope your cold gets better
RloveW - how is your dad doing?

My day is simple - teach, then after school program, then come home and collapse.

I stayed up last night and deep cleaned my kitchen/DR. Yesterday, I deep cleaned my family room, entry and hallway since DH was working from home...and on a web seminar... So today, I just have to clean the bathroom and do a load of towels as I did laundry a day earlier too!!!

So, left on my agenda today is:
clean bathroom
load of towels
scrap
scrap
scrap
pick up elem kids
homework duty
snack
start dinner (DsS20 is home for spring break)
enjoy evening with family

Dad is doing well- he is getting stronger- his white blood count is still low so he doesn't go much of anywhere but can do things around the house. The medicine they are giving him does not have all the side effects of chemo- just the hair loss so he is much storonger than when he was going through chemo and he has fully gotten over the infection that led to the hospital stay.

Thanks for asking and for the prayers.

baby gift to my friend for had a sweet little girl "Sara Grace" a few days ago!!!

Special P & PD request for Erin (LM3K) she spent yesterday at the hospital with her DH, his appendix is twice the normal size and they may do surgery this morning. She'll let me know later today.

Quick update on Erin's DH in case you didn't see it on the swap thread. They are waiting for a consult from a second surgeon and hopefully her DH will be feeling better soon.

We, too, have too much snow on the lawn. DH can't even get to the outside Christmas lights to take those down and it is bugging the heck out of him
