Happy Tuesday Morning!

The only thing worse than getting tons of snow, is getting a wintery mix. Our town has no school but DD attends school out of district, she has school but no transportation. DH started to go to work however found he has a long delay so he will bring DD in later.

My to do:

Clean stinky Pete boxes
feed cats
caffeinate
go into work once it's light outside
hair appt
Special Olympic swim tonight - we haven't had swim since before Christmas
Watch UConn womens basketball game

It's icky out there. They say it'll only be a "couple of inches" which means they won't plow and/or clean the sidewalks. What a mess!

I'm sewing today. We're hoping to "ask for donations" for our reusable bags at the vertical concert next week (we can't "sell' them), so we need to have a bunch made. I have to chain my leg to the dining room table and sew sew sew!

Deb, you're getting so close to single digits!

Brooke, we're having omelettes for dinner.

We are watching the weather to try to figure out the best day to leave... if you can believe the weatherman! I think we are going next Friday, with backup of leaving Thursday if the weather looks iffy.

I'm not going to over pack... I'm not going to overpack.... I'm not going to overpack!

We had lots of white stuff (looks like 6-8 inches) and gusty winds last night. Thank goodness DH shoveled before he left for work

I finally gave in. And am actually feeling better.

Hope--that stinks! I hate being cold. Hopefully the furnace guy shows up soon!

I love my gypsy!!!! I just layed out all the letters and symbols to make Sarah's birthday banner--it was so easy to resize them and to place them on the page! Much easier that guessing what will fit or how big things will cut. WOW Now I know exactly how many sheets of paper I need before I start cutting.

Furnace guy did come quickly, thankfully. He was able to get it restarted, but confirmed as we already knew it needs to be replaced sooner rather than later. It's the original furnace to the house making it 40 years old. We were planning on replacing this summer, but there is a difference between, "oh yeah, we're replacing it this summer, maybe," and "Yes, we will definitely spending the $$$ to get it replaced this spring/summer." Besides, the furnace costs itself, we will also need new ductwork/venting, so that makes it a little more than what I was expecting it to run.

I just have to keep thinking about the "positives" of how many Disney Dream dollars we will be earning.
