Happy birthday to your DS, Deb!

Morgan got a very last minute invite to a friend's house for a sleepover last night, so I have to pick her up this morning - we have tickets to the Boy Scout pancake breakfast. I want to bring Sophie's book to her at some point early this afternoon. DH has his annual Super Bowl party at his friend's house.

Feeling a bit better, but still not 100%, I was up way too early for a Sunday. I hope to get a nap in later.

Jen its based off of a poker run concept (try to get the best hand) only

we slpit the pot and pay out for highest lowest and most number of snake eyes
at each stop along the trail (ours is about 25 miles loop) you roll the dice. there are 3 stops and 1st and last roll is at the school house. so if you roll a pair of 6's we write 12 in the box and you move on. At the end everyones totals are added up rolloffs are held (you'd be surprised). you don't have to ride to play we have lots that play all hands at the school house.

This is our fund raiser. we also have a silent acution and door prizes as well as TONS of food.

homework finish up
~ DS10 finish book; review for math test; review for upcoming SS test; pack backpack; put in yearbook order
~ DS14 pack up practice uniform season over; discuss plans for afterschool pickups
~ DD17 finish English project; review homework for upcoming tests; pack backpack
~ mom and dad ~ pray we have school tomorrow; our built in snowdays are used up.. we go to school on all the remaining snow/make up days
DS14 to soccer conditioning at 1pm
DS14 to next town over for soccer uniform fitting/payment (?)
deposit $ for college tuition
write check and mail it for college tuition (only 2 more payments for this year!!!)
clean up top floor (DH will help with this as there is not much to do)
upload photos from camera
email Champ photo to teammates parents that asked
get dinner ready (buffet style) for SB
scrap a while (need to get 6 pages done today)
make sure everything is ready to go so I can scrap all day tomorrow as Tuesday I will be gone all day w/ 4-H programs with the Ambassadors.

We have found our winter wonderland Last night's predicted 1 inch of sn*w has turned into about 10 inches this morning! It is so pretty because we haven't seen much of it yet this year

We did pretty well considering the economy had really hit this sport. had about 80 hands played and abt 50 sleds many play more than 1 hand.

Hopefully it brought in 1500-2000. that MIGHT cover the fuel for the tucker for the year or make 1 loan payment( we pay yearly) for the tucker. The rest of the monery comes from the state and county to pay for grooming the trails.

Do the the fact that we got more snow last night I was doing triple duty at the sign in table. L was tring to help but well he did help just well he's 12.5 and you all know how that goes.

Today
got up early to take DH to the bus to Sunday River
since they met in the mall parking lot, walked the WHOLE mall
collected photos from walgreens
came home and chopped ice
took a break (and ate a cupcake - not on plan)
chopped more ice (I'll be lucky if I can move tomorrow)
uploaded more photos
had lunch
chopped more ice
had coffee and another cup cake - they're gone now, thank goodness
computer time
waiting for dh to call that he's there safely.
do nothing much for the rest of the day
shrimp and salad for supper.

I got the "fro up" bug from DD and the boys. Mom's down with it too. I managed to talk myself out of being sick but goodness gracious I feel like someone beat me, even my toes hurt. I would not wish this on my worst enemy.

The kids picked up the slack though. DS14 is such a great help. Him and DS9 broke up more ice in the driveway, we actually had sun today and it got up to 40º.
DS10 hung out with me since he's still feeling under the weather. DD rubbed my hands because even between my fingers hurt. She's such an angel.

gonna go check my Team Donald thread, then I'm going back to sleep.

I got the "fro up" bug from DD and the boys. Mom's down with it too. I managed to talk myself out of being sick but goodness gracious I feel like someone beat me, even my toes hurt. I would not wish this on my worst enemy.

Ohhh I hope you feel better!!!

I worked all day, breakfast, right into superbowl food and then took off asap. Was not up to pulling another 11 hour day.

I am on strike and amazingly enough, 18 hours in, DBF and DD#1 managed to use their day off to do what I do on my day off, they got the house picked up, vacuumed, laundry started, and folded and dinner on the table by the time I came home from work. why didnt I go on strike sooner?

The "Fro up bug" has hit everyone here now. DD#1 started in right before I came home, DD#2 has been at it all day but was at her dads house, and shes milking it hard so the DRAMA. DD#3 is feeling a little better but its still running its course. DBF isnt doing so hot either.

Good news though I got 15 pages done at my crop last night
