Well, it looks like a blizzard outside right now...so this thing tracked back over me I guess. Not much sky dandruff on the ground, but DH said the roads are terrible, and the parking lot at work is really bad too :scared1:

The wind is just howling...it's such a good day to stay home and cook all day...but I have to go in...sigh...

Good morning!! It's Friday!! I'm dragging this morning (no reason why, just am), but we're DOUBLE DIGIT DANCING TODAY!!!!! Woohooooo! I'm loving the countdown to this trip not only because we'll be going to WDW, but also because it means I'm off to start summer vacation!:banana:

Deb, Christy, and all others with sky dandruff--BE SAFE TODAY!!!

Yesterday was NOT a good day for my diet, and today, I didn't get up to exercise, but I'm NOT beating myself up! Today is another diet day, and there will be other times to exercise. . .although I must get this done in 99 days!!!

I was supposed to work today, but the manager had to cut some hours, so now I don't have to go in. He made up for it by giving me extra hours on next week's schedule.

My day:
Print ad for the playbill and give to DS with a check
DS up and off to school
Exercise
Laundry
make grocery list
grocery shopping
Clean
Organize DVD shelves - need to get the DVD's we've acquired over the past few months put in alphabetical order which means I have to move everything around to get them to fit!
I'll put Brooke's #19 here - Try to avoid eating whole box of GS cookies!! - the GS's were outside the grocery store on Sunday and made me buy each of us a box of cookies. I've been trying to eat only 1 a day, but it's oh so hard!
Work on swaps
Stitch
Dinner - meatloaf
Watch last night's Survivor
Watch Olympics

Have a great day!

We have a 90 minute delay.

Eldest will probably be staying home. Now that he has ruined this perfect attendance, I think he will be in no hurry to go back. His nose is a mess. His throat is really sore. He's gone thru 2 boxes of tissues and working on the third. He's miserable.

Little Bit is still sleeping. I'll let him sleep a little longer and then wake him so he has more play time. That involves my computer, so I'm not rushing to get there.

Okay, never mind. Just heard him wake up. :rotfl2:

One child to school.
Laundry.
Make lots of soup.
Figure out dinner.
Homework.
Not sure.

Oh yeah, Brooke, do you still go to Chic-fil-A on Saturdays?
Little Bit made up a new breakfast for me that I can have that doesn't have a lot of calories or carbs. We put the breakfast burrito filling in a bowl. No wrapper. A lot less calories. :thumbsup2

Have a good day everyone.

Thanks Holly. I hope so too.

We love the Earl of Sandwich. We want to try the Wolfgang Puck Express someday too. Have a great time Rebecca!

Friday! :worship:

Well, we got socked with bad winds (80-mph-hurricane force!) last night and had a bit of damage. Fence area blown down, at least one shutter off, and I have to walk around the house to see what else.

So many things on my to-do list for today and the weekend it ain't funny! But, there's no way I can get it all done - so I'll just dive in and get as far as I can each day.

SIOH and DIT - I know! The Girl Scouts must put *something* in those cookies so that no one can eat just one - I swear I could polish off an entire box without pausing!

Can't wait to try the E of S - it is on our list for the summer trip! Rebecca - have a great day for all of us!

Ok - try and get the dog out for a walk (haven't been for two days due to the heavy rain and he is positively nutty!) before the snow starts soon...

Thanks Holly. I hope so too.

We love the Earl of Sandwich. We want to try the Wolfgang Puck Express someday too. Have a great time Rebecca!

We enjoyed Wolfgang Puck Express but found it to be a little more expensive and way too much food so with my sister we will do Earl- plus it is our favorite in DTD(although I love Fulton's but that is way more than I want to spend on lunch).

Rebecca

We love E of S too. I think we went there twice on our trip last year. I would go back in a heartbeat again.

Ok, lots to do..
did budget and priced airline tixs yesterday.. may be flipping our vacation around a bit and leaving a few days early... no big deal.. need to finalize... if we leave early I can mail everything to Grams and only have to have carry ons for the flight!! Will mail everything back from Disney so again only carry ons! LOL I'll save tons of money this way!

Today:

dishes
2 loads laundry
clean kitchen

clean dining room
clean family room

clean bathroom
make kids' beds
kids to clean rooms when they get home from school
pick up kdg child
store for soda pop (must to survive weekend! LOL)
lunch
kit pages for scrapping tonight
check kids' report cards tonight (High school got theirs yesterday DD and DsS18 live, DsS15.. well, he has some explaining to do...and DH is not happy...but hey, I said it would happen..it did... but I'm biting my tongue!) so the two little ones are the deal breaker.. but last check it was straight As for both!
My kids all survive!!!

there is more but the phone is ringing..so the day starts! :faint:

Boy - what a bad storm! Just got back from walking the dog (he pulled up hobbled - must have pulled a back leg muscle, so we cut it short - seems ok now) and wow! The neighborhood got hit hard: entire trees down and/or uprooted, lots of branches down, fence sections gone, lots of hoses and pipes draining basements into the storm drains along the roads, and our neighbors storm windows are scattered in our back yard.

Our basement is bone dry - thank heavens.

I'm at work. I don't want to be here. I was stupid busy this morning, but the boss is gone until at least 4:00 today.

I'm picking up pizza for dinner on the way home...re-joining WW on Monday. Need to get comfy for pool attire for October ;)

Love E of S and Wolfgang Express. We usually have the dining plan, so we don't put out too much money.

I hope all the sickies are feeling better, all the sky dandruff has quieted down, and that basements are clean and dry (crossing my fingers that mine is too).

We are waiting on two quotes to fix our basement. Gonna have to have french drainage {inside of wall around the floor} done and possibly removing the whole darn floor. :headache:
