Guess I'll start today's grind!

no S*** last night!! school's on!!! but very cold about 15degrees!

taking Megan tonight to see the Smuckers on Ice show in Seattle tonight, picking her up at school and heading to town...spending the night at a hotel on the waterfront, meeting up with Rachal (JohnsonsLoveDisney) and her oldest tomorrow for a bowling date, lunch and maybe some shopping at Ikea!!

And I was up way to early. Apparently the roads are good. So it is an on time sorta day. BLAH BLAH BLAH!

Gotta get everyone up and ready.
Drop DD#1 off at school
Volunteer at DD#3's school. Today is Pajama day so I'm thinking Im going in my PJs. Just gotta find something to wear.

DD#3 is interested in dance again, so I need to dig up some shoes, leotards and dance bag and take her to try a class at 2pm.

Sorting through tons of clothes today & kids stuff today...going to consign some of them at my friend's sale this weekend, give a bunch away, and the rest is going to goodwill. We have WAY too much stuff in this house!!

Going to the varsity baseball game tonight, and all 3 boys have games tomorrow, so I probably won't be around until Monday.

Workin'. It's raining like mad here. Hopefully, it all stays outside and I don't have any boat races in the basement going on later...

where needed. MIL came home yesterday. Here's hoping she stays well.

Morgan spent the night with the Beans. Rhonda is meeting me at the mall later for the hand-off I'm sure she's having a ball and not missing us in the least.

We're buying a new TV tonight. And having pizza for dinner.

I'm cropping tomorrow, so I still have time to meet some of my February goals!

Painting day = the family room looks awesome. Taking down wallpaper was tough, but this part was so much easier.
Heading off to a lss tomorrow to take a class. I never got around to scrapping this week, so taking this class will be wonderful.

Well afternoon all!!! Been a crazy day.. About 9pm the sleet started that wasn't supposed to come in til 3am... no big deal.. but the snow came in and dumped about 2" off white stuff on us by the time we got up.. Phone awoke us at 5:45am.. school called a 2 hr delay... By the time the elem bus came at 9am the streets were plowed..still covered but very drivable.. DD and DS headed to the hs at 10:15am w/no issues..

Report cards come home today!!!

Today:
I did my chores while waiting on the 2hour delay....
after the kids left..
I finished the calendars for the 2010 family album..

Need to do:
cut titles for the calendars
DS10 to work on 2 activities in his rabbit book
await big kids to come home
DD and I to work on the Stu Co scrapbook.. (well, she will do it.. I will just help when she needs me). I think we'll have both bugs out working today!

DD has a babysitting gig tonight


Saturday ~ scrapping day for mommy; kids are having a kids' movie day (so DH and I will wonder in/out depending on the movies)...

I just got home from rescuing DH. His van died about 8 miles from home (of course it couldn't have happened any closer). It just won't start we tried jumping it, but, no luck. He took my car to work and it's my job to find a towing company to get it to the mechanic Hopefully it'll be a cheap fix!

UPDATE: Thankfully we have a "towing rider" on our insurance and they will tow up to 10 miles for fee The mechanic is waiting for the van to arrive

I didn't disappear, life just got crazy before we left for vacation. DD is having medical issues that are concerning. We had xrays, blood test, and dr appts before we left and will return to more dr appts.

We flew down to MCO Thursday night, stayed near the airport, then drove to Daytona, rode on the beach, then took 95 down to Vero Beach on Friday. On the way we stopped at DH's cousin's hot dog stand in Edgewater. Yes, I ate a dirty dog, and it was good!!

The weather here is gorgeous, what a difference 50 degrees can make. I am trying to send some warm weather up north. Disney's Vero Beach resort is great. We are having a relaxing time which we all really need. Mome is doing great, she gets tired by the end of the day but she is resting. You would never knew she had back surgery eleven days ago.

Caroline, I give you credit stripping wallpaper. That is tough work.
