So, I get up and it's raining. Rain is better than sky dandruff...so I can only hope that it stays warm enough to keep it as raining...


My list for today:

Keep to my points! I was a little over yesterday, but the scale said I maintained

Good morning!!! It's THURSDAY!! Woohoooooo!!! I have to go to the eye doctor today. It's a much-delayed, much-needed visit, but I hate going! ALWAYS gives me a headache!

4. Get P365 cards to journal during lunch
5. Wrap baby giftie
6. Shower & get ready

Draining night last night and day (ahead) today. Major school crap - terse/angry (us) special ed letters and forms suddenly flying back and forth. Have I mentioned how much I hate all this? And, of course, there's no end in sight...

Girl Scout meeting here this afternoon - yeah, really need that right now! Z2H will be teaching the girls basic origami - and we have to sort out a cookie order mess-up...groan.

Lots of good stuff happening around here too, (some you know but some you don't yet...!) but all of it adds up to draining my energy more than I need right now. Ok, pity party over - and get on with the day! Ok, who else can I yell at?

BTW: TB says hi to everyone. She's been under the weather too - and her whole family with her - yikes.

Pam school issues migrated north. so your not alone although this on is kind of minor Just totally ticked me off. So L was to go to Boston tonight for festival of the lion king (drama from earlier today) he left the house with we will call a decision into school. So at 10 (2 hours before they are due to leave) tom calls and says please tell him he is to stay at school weather is still saying 6-12" and 50mph gusts. they are taking premerie busses down and most of them drive like well......
After L gets the message he calls tom and losses it crying to the point of almost throwing up, with all the IEP issues and anxiety crap I told tom he needed to check on him to make sure he got himself back to one piece.

Here's the kicker hope you're all sitting down: Tom gets to the school and the secrtary denies him access to L. "We'll give him a message" tom just kept repeating himself staying calm and explained that we needed to make sure that he was able to function the rest of the day. She kept dening him.. Finally he slammed his fist on the counter and said get my dam kid I'm pulling him from school. (not one of his finest moments)
So who looses L. He'll now have more work to make up cause some dumb person has no clue.

Now before anyone gets upset I understand that time in class is important, and the interruptions are a pain, this was just to much.

I've left a message for the assisant principal to call me.

Unfortunately this is the tune of the district they OWN our children, gee would you like to feed and cloth them too.....

I'm sorry you and Christy are going through school issues. I hope they get cleared up for you.

oh Christy that is just awful. so sorry for that. our school district too "OWNS" our children during school hours. we are not allowed in the building unless it to pick them up for a scheduled release. they buzz you in and you have to go right to the office. there is no way they would let me see bubba. no way in he**.
i hate it.
we have had school issues the past few days too. sooooooo long i can't even begin to explain it all out to you right now. i'm still trying to wrap my head around it. i have such a headache right now i could scream.

i'm back at work for a yearly meeting and i got here a few minutes early so i could pop on and say hi to everyone! so....... HI!

hope to check in tomorrow.

I love the baby photos.

Our school isn't the greatest, but I can still go in the classrooms in elementary. They aren't keen on it for middle & high. You have to enter through the office and sign in and wear a badge, but you can go see your child in elementary.

My Tom said he would have been just as upset if he could get to his child too. You don't mess with our boys.

Normally I could care less but we KNEW that he wasn't going to take this well, our elem schools you have to sign in, still no buzzer middle where L is you have to sign in, wear a coded badge and are only allowed to move to the reported room.
For L to call his dad is what set us both off he'd never pull this with him he'd try it with me so we knew it was not going to be pretty. All the woman had to do was produce the child for a 1 min check in ( he was fine by that point) and Tom would have been on his merry way.
I swear I need that banging head on the wall smiley and the brick throwing one alot lately
