I hope everyone who's sick gets to feeling better soon.

Pam, I love your DS's comment about trading ZTH for another dog!!!

I'm feeling much better, just really tired. Why is it that coughing gets worse at night when you lay down to go to sleep? I was coughing so much that I ended up sleeping in the living room in a chair and I still was coughing, but at least I wasn't keeping DH up. This afternoon, I took a 4 hour nap with no coughing what so ever, but I guarantee I'll start back up again as soon as I go to bed tonight! And, I can't take a nap tomorrow because I've gotta work!
Oh well, I'll survive!

Oh, and DS is totally jealous that your kids are getting a February vacation week off school. He says it's not fair since they get no days off at all in February.

Not sure how SHE feels about being so easily replaced!

Tell your DS our kids don't get out of school until the end of June! (They also have another whole week off in Aprll!) I'm sure he gets out much earlier than that! This Feb vacation week is great for families who go ski, or do other fun wintery things - like go to WDW!!! - but not so great for those of us who don't. We are taking a daytrip to NYC later in the week, though. Something fun to look forward to!

DH got his car stuck, had an important meeting so took my wheels

Called neighbor to borrow her dd's car.

dd has not been to school in 9 days!!!

Drove neighbor girl's jeep to work.

Had a not fun day at work. Off at 12:30

Home. Spent the rest of the day cleaning my studio.

Migraine, went to bed and missed dd's indoor soccer game.

Sitting alone in front of the fire reading about your days.

How is Princess Blink feeling tonight? Better I hope. Tell her that Snow White gave me some pixie dust for her to feel better.

We ended up going to Daytona this morning and drove on the beach. DH and DN then went to MK around noon and are still out.

There is always tomorrow or Friday for Mousememories and the Character Warehouse Store.

DS will feel much better when he gets out at the beginning of June and your kids are still in until the end of June! They also have a spring break at the end of march/beginning of April. After that, it's countdown to summer break!

No DD is still sick, she has a bad cough, a runny nose and a fever.
She says thank you for the pixie dust.

I'm going to call the Dr tomorrow if she still feels bad.

DIT, glad you are feeling better.

I detest all the stupid vacations and days off and half days and in-service days. I'm a big proponent for year round schooling. I'm sure that would make me very unpopular with a lot of kids, but meh, I don't care! Start paying our teachers what they deserve and put the kids to work all year round. Make things easier for working parents. Stagger vacations so that Disney isn't MOBBED in February and April
