Can't sleep--it's gonna be a LONG day!

The girls concert was nice, too long (2 1/2 hours), but, all the groups did a good job. I ended up bidding on my own basket and 2 others. I won all three--the money all goes to the music program

Dinner--ham, mashed potatoes and pineapple slices

Good morning! Sleeeeeeeeeepy here this am! DS didn't want to sleep last night, so we were up LATE! Oh well, it's Wednesday. . .halfway through the week! Just 4 working days (counting today) until Christmas Break!

Here's my list for today:

2. Caffeinate
3. Pack my lunch
4. Do some work for work
5. Get ready
6. Work
7. Run to mom's to drop off stuff
8. Fold laundry
9. More work for work
10. Play with DS
11. Chicken enchiladas for dinner
12. Make reindeer food with DS if time
13. Watch "The Santa Clause"--working our way through the Christmas movies!
14. Go to sleep early. . .have a feeling I'm going to need it!

I hope everyone that hasn't been feeling well is much better today!

Last night, DS got his acceptance into his #1 choice of university!!!!! But, since he didn't get into their BFA program, it's now dropped down to #3 choice. We haven't heard from his new #1 and he'll be auditioning with them in January or February. Lots of waiting!

Busy day today:
Work
Run to mall (it's the closest place) for dinner
Back to Michaels to teach my scrapbook class
Go home and fall into bed

DIT, if he didn't get accepted into BFA, but he did get accepted to the University, what program would he be in? Would there be a chance of transferring into BFA at a later date, if he did well in his program?

Busy day here.
DH is going skiing.

massage (I shouldn't spend the money, but my shoulder still hurts)

Since he wouldn't be in the BFA program, he would be working towards a Bachelors degree in Theatre. From what I understand, the BFA is a more specialized program for the actor (or musician or dancer) and the regular bachelors degree is a much more general program. He's still shooting to get into a BFA program at one of his 4 choices and if that doesn't happen then he'll go into the regular program. The school's don't encourage you to audition again during your freshman year of college, but you can and there is a chance to get accepted into it then. He'll keep trying!

Cheryl, happy the concerts went well even if long, on getting your basket back and others! You'll love GLEE show, it was great...we picked up the CD on Sunday and have been listening to it all week!

Good Morning!

Finished another medical file - got to be at midnight - early night for me!!

So today -

DD is up and out
DH is off to day of meetings and he will be home late
Little One is crazy today!! all she wants to eat are BBQ chips!!?
Have to clean up around here
Store run for apple juice and snacks - DD10 won't stop eating!
Empty items I grabbed at storage unit out of truck
Load garbage for trip to dumpster
Take medical records back to dr.
Really going to try to play and wear out DD3 today. She is bored I think.

Glad everyone's concerts went well.

I'm at work. Concert was great last night. Couldn't see Morgan at all, there were a ton of kids on that stage! They sounded great, and it was under an hour.

Computer is acting up again, and I'm very very frustrated.

I hope everyone is feeling better.

DIT ~ Congrats to Andrew!!! Sorry to hear he didn't get into the BFA program but at least he has several other schools that he can audition for... FSU will be regretting not taking that boy into their program..and we can all tell them we told you so!!!!

Today: I slept as I didn't sleep alot last night.... DH is doing better...
so today:
I'm going to finish last swap group this afternoon
bag/tag swaps
sketch some more holiday swap ideas (inspiration is flowing...)
pull paper for above sketches so I don't use them on my own LOs

get kids picked up from school
homework duty
snacks
buy PJ's second semester history book got it for $10.00 saved $40!!!!!
pick up DS14 from BB practice

Appt w/ retina specialist - swelling has gone down, sight has increased from 20/400 to 20/200. No new "procedure" was required today, just eyes dialated and pictures taken. Follow up not for another four weeks.
