The Daily Grind ~12/29/10~

It's Hump Day!!!

Had to drive DH's car to work yesterday. I don't know how to work everything, and apparently I pushed a button that wasn't supposed to be pushed. It was dead when I went out at midnight! Good thing DH was working and able to get a truck and jump it. Why would they put the button for "parking lights" on the door?

Hope everyone that need dusting today has a better day!

My list for today:

Caffeinate...This repeats everyday

Feed Pups

DIS/FB

Go car dealership...maybe test drive that Acura
(make sure I remind DH to bring the checkbook )

Pack a dinner
Work @ 3p

Remind DH to take element out of oven so that he can take it to the parts store tomorrow

Working today. Going to my sister's to shower, and then calling Sears to knock some heads around. We've always used Sears and never ever had a problem with them (other than having to wait a day or two because we wanted them to come on a certain day), so I don't know what's going on.

Morgan will spend the day there. They are like two peas in a pod, so I know she'll have a ball. I have Sophie's replacement gift so I'll leave that with them, no doubt they will see her.

Good morning!! Halfway through the week! I had intended to get the Christmas stuff out of the house & packed up, but DH's grandfather has taken a turn for the worse, and is not expected to live through the week. So, that's been put on hold for family reasons. Please send some prayers & pixie dust to DH's dad. . .it's going to be tough on him!

I hope everyone has a good day today--good luck with the car and the water heater!!

5. Play with DS
6. Finish putting dates in planner

10. Dinner with some cousins on my side who are in visiting with their new baby!

Mornin'.. We are up and moving reluctantly.. Poor surge woke us up about 2:30am... don' t know what that was from....but all clocks are fixed now!

Today is our last day of freedom.. basketball practices resume tomorrow... at 9am.. YUCKO!!!

DD to empty dishwasher
DD to YEP mtg for upcoming event
boys to clean their rooms (DD did it on her own yesterday)
put away from of the holiday decorations (list upstairs of what can be taken down today)
work on 4 letter groups and 1 mini-kit group (holiday swap)
ck on BFF from home as she had surgery yesterday
ck on BFF & family today
ck on SIOH today
finish budget for year (goals)

Debbie ~ hope the test drive goes well; parking lights on the door panel??? Where are the door locks on the steering wheel? (cars are so odd)

The contractor is expected between 8 and 10 am tomorrow. Hopefully, I'll have hot water by dinner time. I figure it will take some time for the water in the tank to heat up.

Morgan is spending the night at my sister's, I dropped off a few things for her tonight. DH wanted to go to Newbury Comics, so we brought over her iPod and Rosie (her stuffed bear), but they were out.

Thanks, y'all! DH's grandpa did pass away today. It's been tough on the family. Somehow I wish I could rewind the last two weeks and start over, but then again, I'd want to change it, and that doesn't work!!

So, onward we go!!
