When I came home, DH had most of the gifties cleaned up and put away (well, at least out of his sight, and I guess that's all that matters to him).

Work on beaded giftie... need to get the motivation back...

Dinner- But I can tell you I'm tired of ham...

Hello everyone,

All of the snow is gone Being Canadian and all - it's hard to be without the white stuff during the holidays.

Here's my list. I need to get ready for Gabfest 2009. MM2000, PBF, Po3, and ZTH are coming over on Tuesday and since there isn't much room for scrapping with all the decorations and stuff, we are just going to hang out, sip lattes (Raaann - we need 4 eggnog lattes) eat (pasties from the Danish Pastry House, and Paninis for lunch - Oh Raaann...) and talk, talk, talk.

The kids are all comming and they will have a ball

Up and Caffienate
Make up grocery list
Go to M and ACM to look for snowflake punch (I've decided I can't live without it)
Bribe kids with "points" to help me with chores
Dust first floor
Vacumn first floor
Windex first floor
Wash kitchen floor
Tidy Back Parlour
Tidy Front Parlour
Make Front Porch presentable
Clean 1st floor bath
Recheck supplies for kids craft on Tuesday
Make sure we have logs for fireplace
Grocery Shop (Johnnies and Trader Joes - I TJs)
Shower
I'm sure there is more that I'm forgetting...

Rhonda- are you kiddin' me? Clean for me? NEVER to that! My house is so lived in. And for those that have spotless houses I envy you. I just can't seem to make mine spotless. It is by no means dirty, just lived in. I need to throw away some clutter, but I'm working at it!

So I'm off today and tomorrow and I'd love to get some stuff done around here.

Find Dad's check that he sent me. In all the holiday rush it looks like it might be lost!

I don't want to see any ta-tas or pasties! This is a G (maybe PG-13 when the kids aren't around) gathering!

A few weeks ago I mentioned that Holly may be coming over to make glitter ornaments. My DH said to me "wouldn't you be embarrassed to have her see this mess (indicating my very lived in dining room - where I scrap)?" And I said, no, she's not coming to see the house, she's coming to see ME. Men!

I want to stay home. Should I call in blind? "I just don't see myself working today..."
