The Daily Grind 12/21/2015

Good Morning!

Other than 1 thing event being rained out we had a good weekend.

Today:
10am- flying (weather is looking good today)
cook lemon butter cookies
make sugar cookie dough
decide about secret angels and get them ready to start if doing them
check on air conditioner for rental home (the compressor went out and the air conditioning guy from the rental company said entire unit - just 12 years old must be replaced- we are getting another opinion)
dinner- ch thighs, vegies, potatoes
make a grocery list for the week and get things
finish wrapping gifts- I thought I was done but they dent down 3 bags of gifts from DCF with Brittany
finish stockings- just need to sew the cuffs onto the stockings and they are finished
work on finishing A's heavy blanket/rug- it has large holes because I had to use size 21 needles on it that I need to sew up a bit between
find some things to keep A busy when not on the computer- she only gets 2 hours a day and seems to feel as though she will just whither up and die without more time- I believe I will start taking away time from the next day if she complains about it too much

Rebecca -- good idea of discipline for complaints.. 2 hours a day is a good amount..and living where you are she can go out and enjoy the sunshine and play outside!!!
Becky -- hi!! hope you have a great week!!
Chae -- how's weather? I saw a lot of posts of nasty roads!
Lisa -- how are things?

I'm going to let the kids sleep as long as they want today. PJ has a interview here in town for substitute teaching. She filled in and returned her paperwork for subbing near college already! PJ also has her first set of testing for obtaining her teaching license tomorrow.


Today's agenda:

once over house
shopping list for Wednesday (going to go ahead and shop for 2 weeks plus since pay day is actually Christmas Day)
see what's going on w/ investigation (re: what was going on last week is STILL going on)
list of things we need to finish before Thursday (small things that kids can do for me)
send PJ off to interview
PJ home to study a bit more (she'll do great)

Busy day yesterday, got some knocked off our Christmas to-do list! Seahawks won! Megan's ankle is feeling so much better, returning her scooter today!

today:
double check grocery list
school 9 - 12 for operation backpack service project- filling backpacks for homeless people
Megan's eye brows waxed
p/u light bulbs for my kitchen light fixture
bring scooter back
lunch out
grocery shop / Megan says she needs to get me a couple more things/ need a couple more Christmas bowls
put groceries away
homework
dinner
