Good Morning!

I have gotten a cold and can hardly think. I need to finish some Christmas gifts and work on the house but I have no idea on which specifics.

Hope everyone that has been feeling bad is on the mend.

Prayers out to the many in our dis-family and our extended dis-family that are having troubles at this time of year.

Rebecca

Rebecca, I hope you feel better.

Prayers and pixie dust to all who need them.

Today is my last day of work until after Christmas!!!!!! We started putting out pretty spring things yesterday. It was so nice to handle bright springtime colors and, best of all, nothing had glitter on it!!!!!!!!:woohoo:

Have a great day everyone!

I've got a list a mile and a half long. Laundry is started. I'll change the beds as soon as I get off the computer. Need to make gift tags/cards for the ornaments, make boxes for the ornaments, wrap (I'm wrapping the stuff my ILs are giving us since FIL has a lot going on right now), pay bills, clean out my purse (it's a black hole!), figure out my final shopping list and plan of attack for Thursday, (I have already been to Kohl's and back this morning for a sweater for Morgan's chorus concert tonight - she wants to wear one of her cruise dresses, which are sleeveless), figure out what the heck we're going to have for dinner, pick her up from school, go to the library, make the glitter ornaments, wrap the glitter ornaments, eat dinner, do the dishes, take her back for the 5:30 rehearsal, come home and get DH, go back to the school for the concert, collapse into bed...Holy smokes, I better get moving!

:wizard: for all in need. Feel better everyone!

Kids are off to school with the last of the few bus driver/aide gifts we're doing this year, driveway/sidewalk, etc. shoveled (about 3 inches here - but dry and powdery! - but more of the same on the way), and now on to the rest of my day.

Kinda quiet...but it is early! Another day of puttering - dishes, laundry, put gift out for letter carrier, walk to Post Office to mail bills... Must find a couple of decorations that weren't in the boxes they were supposed to be - DS really wants them for his room. Corn chowder for dinner - activity of the day is "dinner by candlelight." DS's hot dogs (he's not a soup fan!) will taste amazing! Final, final, FINAL (unless I add more tomorrow...hee hee) touches on scrapbook for DH...

Hugs to everyone who is going through a rough patch and also to those helping others who are too...

Morning Everyone!
Prayers and pixie dust to all who are in need!
Stephanie, that is so wonderful for A! A full ride at an oos university!
You should be so proud of him and of yourself for doing a great job raising him mom!
Shopping is 90% done and wrapping not started. I have a dr appt this morning and then to decide what to do. As today is my real 49th birthday I have the option of going and seeing Tangled or havinf the house to myself to wrap.
What would you all do?
Have a safe and warm day!:santa:

"Tangled", definitely! Happy Birthday, Rita!!

How is it just 4 days til Christmas? Yikes! We went to eat dinner with mom & dad last night--it was good for mom & DS to spend time together (they've missed each other since she had her surgery). It does mean I've got tons of stuff to do over the next 3 days, though.

Happy Birthday, lovely Rita! Do which ever will bring you the most happiness! (Saw Tangled at DTD with Danica a couple of weeks ago - it was better than I thought it would be...!)

Today, my (newest) chore will be to stay away from ACM - a 60% off coupon was in my email - good today only! Hmmmmmmm...worth scraping the snow off the car????...think, think...!) Probably won't go, but I'd really like one of those Making Memories circle cutters - usually $30...would be a lot less now..:rolleyes1 Sigh.

Gross :crazy2:

Vaccum got something stuck in it and all the fluff and dog fur backed up in the hose!

Hey Happy Birthday!

It's my birthday too. You are the first person I know that has the same birthday as me. We're going to dinner and having Cheesecake factory cheesecake for dessert (DH is picking it up on his way home). I'm feeling a bit melancholy about my birthday this year. I am 35 and for some reason that just sounds to me like a "tipping point," between being a young person and being a grown up. The new 30.

Happy Birthday Hope!!! you are such a youngin'!!!

Happy Birthday Hope and Rita - hope you both had a spectacular day!!!!
Rebecca- hoping that your cold improves in the next few days. Trust me, teaching does share many experiences, including colds! Have not seen Tangled, but sounds like I might enjoy it...and I do have the next week and one half off.
Patience and love to all who are needing it at this time of year. Caroline

Happy birthday, Hope! That's the age I will be turning in September--I have to agree with you. It does sort of feel like a tipping point! I hope your day has been fabulous!!

Catching up on the past couple of days - lots of sad events. Prayers and pixie dust to all those in need.

Happy Birthday Rita and Hope! Big congrats to DIT's son!

Today was the big wrapping day - everything is all set and under the tree. Still doesn't quite feel like Christmas though - I just have not been able to get into the spirit this year.

Hey Hope! Happy Birthday sister first day of winter baby!!:goodvibes
At 35 dear heart I was preggers with Banana! You're just beginning! When you have to check a new age group on forms, thats what kills me.
We did see Tangled and went to Claimjumpers.
Tomorrow will be killer wrapping day/ I feel really lucky that B is now at the age that she likes to wrap so the family is done and I just have to take care of the 3 that live here.
NEE, I am having the same problem this year. Just kind of melancholy (sp?).
And certain slower Christmas music does not help.
So here's some hugs for you, and anyone else who needs them! We will get through the next 4 days!
:hug::hug::hug::hug::hug::hug::hug::hug::hug::hug:
