Good Friday morning everyone!!
Colder, but still sunny here today.

School is my main priority today.....
Working on finishing my Special Olympics scarf this weekend - 80 % done.
Have more pictures ready to go into a scrapbook or picfolio. I have gotten behind in my scrapping. Weather permitting, LindaBabe and I will be at Lisa's crop next Saturday.

Morning Caroline ~ have a great day at work... Hope you are able to get that scarf done and ready to go this weekend.

Today, I will work again on the DHS mini-kit section of the swap.
I need to grab photos this morning of my JV basketball player.. I had to hem his warm up because he is one of the smallest players on the team..but a weapon to be worried about as he is a stealer of the boy... most boys underestimate him and get their butts striped of the ball and in trouble with their coaches! LOL

DS15 has his game tonight... so I must get stuff done timely today.

I love the sarf idea - I wish my DH didn't break my knitting machine or I would join in on that one. The cat got on it so he threw something small & it hit the machine, his aim was off, it was suppose to go over the cat, anyways it chipped one of the almost in the middle things so it makes in tight right there. I wonder if JoAnn's would let me use the 40% coupon on a new one??

DH is already at work - has to work all weekend (please send PD to the one he is filling in for, she lost her baby & doctors are having to do surgery today)

I got to get boys to school, then head to work early so I can check out the craft fair in the building (need to remember to add extra money in my purse so I can buy something)

then I need to finish getting all of my files that I want to inkscape in the right section (delete a few things that I know I won't do or have already done) I'm in an organize mood at this moment. next up is organizing my blog & getting all moved over to the new hosting site.

It's cold here and the is a lot of white stuff on the ground.

Two weeks form today Rachel and I will be on a plane to Disneyland

I need to finish the DHS swap today so I can finish up paper dolls over the weekend.

Workin'. Feeling a smidge better, but still not 100%. I need a really quiet weekend, but that's not happening. Tomorrow we're going to Rhode Island School of Design to tour the fashion area. Morgan is very excited Only 4 girls are going, but it's a very busy time, so I imagine that people have other commitments.

She needs a new pair of black pants for the concert on Wednesday, so we'll have to brave the mall at some point. Blech.

Nan, good luck to your DS at tonight's game!

I'm going to finish up the Christmas decorating today. I was going to do it yesterday, but DS came over and got me side tracked. By the time he left I wasn't in the mood to do it anymore. I did get a few ornaments made. I still haven't made DS's annual one, but I'll figure that one out today hopefully.

I got the Cricut E2 at Michaels on Thanksgiving and finally got to play with it yesterday. I really love that machine. Anyway, it was a good thing I played with it as a gal in my Cricut class last night brought that machine! The class is designed for the baby bug and the Expression. But since I'd just played with mine I was able to teach her how to use hers without looking like too much of a dope! She'd just bought it that day and hadn't even opened the box yet! It was wierd trying to teach the Expression and the E2 in the same class as they work so differently. I think I'm going to have to have a class that is just for the E2 to make it flow more smoothly.

Thanks Stephanie, I will let him know... He took the photos this morning without any complaint... They bought him an adult medium warm up... He is an adult small for sure....and he is only 5'2"... so the medium pants had to have a huge hem in them... Since he is in the midst of some growth, I was afraid to cut them so we hemmed them up with those style snaps....they did great...

I ordered DS11 an ipod touch.... so the 3 big gifts are done... Just let ones this next week and I'll be done shopping!

Ok, off to get ready and off to the DHS swap... I've got to get that done by Wednesday....

cold and foggy again today, but sun is burning through

We had some excitement around our house last night at 850pm....the fire alarm went off, scared the begebbers out of us!! thought it was just our smoke detectors, had my DB come over and change out the batteries. A guy just showed up this morning saying he was working on the Bldg alarm system and it would be going off....asked him if he was working on it last night, yes he was....why didn't we know about it, he was sorry for not telling us all.
so to say the least Megan was freaked out the bldg was on fire and slept with me, so not a great night sleep for me.

today going to work on scrapping NYC trip

watch some holiday movies tonight


Weekend plans:
Saturday: dropping off our giving tree and food bank donations and going to see the Muppets!!!
make my cookie dough

Sunday: bake said cookies and frost - about 14 dozen
maybe scrap if I get the cookies done

YAY!! power is back on!!

Mighty windy out her the past 2 days.

Jennifer it certainly sounds as if Michaels is lucky to have you!

I have a medical file to work on today - daughter is home from school since we did not have power today I did not send her. So the girls are watching "Dirty Jobs" ?

Power just came back about 20 minutes ago. Cell phone kicked in about 8 minutes ago.

So:
Yesterdays laundry
clean up some hot spot piles
clean out/vacuum truck
sweep leaves and dirt out of garages
round up balls, wagons and bikes that have wandered about
go find patio furniture and put back
take a shower!! WOOT
wash dishes
finish medical report-email
go pick up another medical file - drop this one - pick up check!
deposit check
take daughters somewhere? maybe B&N to check out new Nook tablet

Hey, this is neat - i can be the first and, possibly, the last poster on this thread today!!!
Just an FYI - if you watch Home Makeover at 8 pm tonight, it took place where I teach. I did not know the young boy who committed suicide after being bullied, but certainly am familiar with the whole incident. The school system I teach in, was found deficient of not doing enough about bullying. Carl did attend a charter school in Springfield, I teach in the public schools, but it crossed all boundaries and touched so many lives.
