I had a good day with my sister yesterday and now back to 2 more days in 2nd grade.

Christmas activity (have to decide what to do if the ornament was made yesterday)

lunch

put up my Christmas tree
adult Christmas party potluck (bring vegies)
work on Chriostmas gifts

Well it's been a long night with my little man.

my list for today is taking care of him.

Mr. Crockett is coming home 1/2 way through the day so I can go to work for my year end board meeting. Then I can come back home and be with my men. I am not doing my work christmas party tonight. I'd much rather be home anyways.

I'm sorry it was a long night. I was hoping he'd crash after all the "excitement" of the day.

I went to bed early-ish. Still woke up with the headache. Hoping the advil and caffeine nip it in the bud.

On my agenda today are a few chores and errands, and scrapping! I should do some cleaning, but nah.

I have a short work day today!!!! And, then I'm off for 3 days, work 2 more, and then off until after Christmas!!!! That store is crazy right now and the customers are getting less nice the closer we get to Christmas. I had a customer chew me out the other day because we were out of the clear ornaments and when she asked if we'd get more in, I told her all our Christmas things were out and we wouldn't be getting anymore. I've been wearing my Disney Christmas hats each day and humming along to the Christmas music and staying in the spirit. They will NOT spoil it!!!!

Anyway, for good news! Last week at DS's school they had auditions for the spring musical. They are going to be performing "Hairspray" in April. DS got the role of Edna. She's Tracey's Mom, the part that John Travolta had in the movie. It's not the role he really wanted (but he's still excited), but he'll be so perfect in it. I can't wait to see the show!!!!

DIT ~ that is going to be a great show!!! Andrew will be fabulous as Edna.. I can NOT wait to see photos of that!!!

Today:

2 hour delay has thrown everything off schedule... 3" of fresh white fluffy stuff over night.... We have a white Christmas this year!!! Over the years Santa has come on a motorcycle, water skis, reindeer, airplane..... now he can actually bring in the reindeer and sleigh and not have to worry!!! LOL


I need to run dishwasher
finish up laundry
pull dishes for tomorrows holiday party
email teacher for desk size... want to get table clothes on their desks for easy clean up
wash & cut fruit for fruit tray for holiday party
finish wrapping 2 kids' gifts
finish Grams cards.. each family member is writing her a note to be added to her gift (we got her cool photo coasters and included photos from our vacation with her this summer)
get kids picked up from school
get snacks for basketball game tonight
drive up to DS14's basketball game (hope no wind so the roads aren't dangerous on the way home)

Oh my- what a day- I had forgotten (or blocked) what parties were like at school. We had so much stuff- I will be surprised if any parent gets there child to bed tonight and I saved a bunch for tomorrow too.

Well, yesterday I got a call in the afternoon that DD was vomiting at school and I needed to pick her up so I knew we'd be home today, unfortunately the morning started with a seizure. :/

Call neurologist to request med increase
Stay close to DD to watch for further seizures, fortunately none. DD spent most of the day watching the Santa Claus movies
Feed cats
wood in the woodstove
do the laundry shuffle
MomE and the furbaby came over for a visit. Bless MomE's soul, she brought me caffeine!!
