The Daily Grind ~ 11/29/12

Well I am from MO, but one of the winning ticket was sold on the other side of the state. I do still need to check my tickets, but I know it was not a large amount :goodvibes Oh well!!

Rachal- Sorry!!! Grrrrrr!!!!
Nan- I am not sure whether to tell you congrats or not :lmao:
Cheryl- Hope DH is doing better today :goodvibes

I think I can make it through work one more day until the weekend. I am not sure why I am so exhausted this week!! Off to pick DD1 up and drop DD2 up.

So my daddy's finally home now! He has 14 screws and 2 plates in his elbow.. yikes! But the surgery went well.

congrats to your DS Nan...do you have his running around errands list all made up :thumbsup2:lmao:

Rachal what a butt! and didn't he give you issues with the cheer schedule and HE's the one who wanted the girls to cheer ....good thing the girls are telling you the truth!

Rachel - happy your daddy is home, take good care of him!

Michelle - dang you didn't win, was hoping it was you and you'd treat us all to a trip to meet up!

went to Michaels to get a quote on framing Megan's 3 prints and he told me $115...thought that's not to bad, nope $115 EACH!!! not doing that, so got some simple white frames and will see if we like them without mats

OH Rachal... I would so be going to court over that.. I thought that was frowned upon by the judges.... ERRRRR!!!!!!!

I'm ok.. he can NOT drive with anyone but family for the first 180 days... so no friends in the vehicle... He won't be driving DS12 to school for a while because I want his undivided attention on the roads... The first month we also restrict him to driving in our little town only... he will drive when we run errands so he can drive in the next few towns over so we know he can drive with the foolish drivers we find all over... The evaluater last night said she felt very safe allowing him onto the roads!!! She said she knew he was a good driver when he took her out on the interstate drive and he didn't panic when the semis were dodging on/off the ramps... plus there was major construction....

Thank you for all the congrats.. he says thank you too!!

Lisa, I would do my own framing too.. NO way would I spend that much money.. but this is a mom of 2 college kids saying.. 3x115... that is 3 college credits (1 class).... no way!!!! :)

great the evaluater had such high praise for him!

yah its was WAY to much $$, heck that's part of my food budget for our WDW trip :rotfl2:

I guess you could pay it, if you could talk Megan into eating PBJ all week at Disney... I would tell you that I'd rather eat Disney Style and regular frames work for me!

Nanc - i was in your shoes many yrs ago... so much easier to make the attempt.

I have been super busy the past couple of days. I am heading to california tomorrow morning for the weekend. Going for the soccer MLS cup. I'm just happy to be away with the hubby

Hope all is well with everyone. Sending prayers and pixie dust to everyone in need.
Congrats to Nan for having another driver.

Talk to you all after we get settled back at home monday.

Cindy

that's not even an option :lmao: when she heard the price, she was really good about the cheaper option! training my girl right to look for better ways to get the same look!

how can he do that to his own daughters, isn't he supposed to have a bedroom for them to use???

would like to be a fly on the wall during that meeting!

What a schmuck, Rachal...

no he's the "Poster Boy for Schmucks"

Yuuuuuup. Haha.

My kids have no idea what we have planned for food this trip. We normally pb&j it for lunches when we go back to the room for a nap, and do breakfast bar type things in the mornings. But we have dining. Anyone want to place bets on who is first to ask if they can not eat out for a meal? Haha my girls are nuts like that.

We've never done ddp cause it just wasn't cost effective. But now all girls cost money to eat. So we'll see how it goes. :)

Ya for DS!!! are you ready tho?

See Nan, thats cause you are an adult and a good parent and you know how things are.

I know hes a real piece of something. He wont allow DBF to pick them up nor will he drop them off if im not home.

Sunday was a big rehearsal (maybe if she went she could skip one this week) I told him as soon as I found out about it. Texted, reminded. I get an email at 530.. where is she? I call him "i am stuck in traffic and not going to make it" I asked him why he was stuck in traffic that long, impossible (i check the traffic) anyways girls come home "we werent really stuck in traffic, the gf had other plans so we didnt go, but he told us to tell you that we were stuck in traffic" he moved about 35-40 mins away from where he was living to move in with the new gf. so now its all too far, too long to get there, too much gas. Whos fault is it? I've really had enough of the power trip he gets on when he has a gf. No gf all summer long and he was manageable. so frustrating.

Then I tried to talk to him about the upcoming stuff when I dropped them off yesterday, he said "not discussing this with you, its my time and I'm not wasting it" got in his car and drove off.:furious: So when I picked them up I just opened the door and let them in. Since that was "my time" and we really have to get home and ready for bed.

I got an email last night that there is a 3 hour practice before their performance on Sunday, that he has to take her too :rotfl: He hasnt responded to my text.

I'm so sorry you are having to deal with all of this. I hope things get better for you.
