The Candlelight Processional at WDW on Friday evening was beautiful. Isabella Rossellini was the narrator. The choir (which DS was a part of!!) had such an amazing voice and every song was sung beautifully. DS said it was such a great time. I took some photos but I was so far away (and there were too many tall people in front of me!) that it was hard to get great ones. I'll post a few in a separate post.

I forgot to mention another cool thing about my trip down to WDW. After the Candlelight Processional performance, I met Anne (DisneyBarlans)!!! It was so nice to meet her and talk to her in person!!

bed early, didn't sleep well, dummy me watched a Hallmark movie last night "November Christmas" and it stirred up my emotions BIG time

Hi everyone!! Just a fly-by! Had a wonderful, relaxing weekend at the cabin!

Now, let's hit the crazy, zaniness of the holidays!

Today is clean, clean, clean; laundry, laundry, laundry; gifts, gifts, gifts; and work, work, work for work! What a blessing to have my health and be able to do these things!

to all of you and wishes for a great day!

Now, one quick question because I know y'all will know! How do you "make" Magic Reindeer Food? DS is just now really starting to sort of (maybe) understand Santa. See, he's a late talker (he's 28 months and says maybe e30-40 words) so we're just progressing a few words at a time. He does better when I can connect the ideas, and feeding the reindeer seemed to work! So, what's in this? Because I'm determined that we'll "feed us some reindeer"!

I made it for bubba's classmates last year and it was a big hit.

Brooke we used to feed the reindeer every year when my girls were small--we used oats & glitter. Generally the oats were gone by Christmas morning and only the glitter was left sparkling on the snow

Having a "blah" day today. Haven't accompished hardly anything. Maybe I should go look at the Christmas scrapbook, almost 20 years of memories in that one, and it always cheers me up I'm so glad I've taken the time to write down the events and memories from each year and each Christmas season in one place.

Reindeer food!! Yep, oatmeal and glitter. Add a little granola if you have it. We add alfalfa hay - but we have it here so its easy to come by.

I need to get cracking on the elf fun this year!!

And with that thought it occurs to me - Nan - I think emailed me the elf letter and other fun things - I did not get to elfing last year so left it on computer which crashed. So I would like to request any elf fun-ness you can share - I think my girls would really enjoy this!

Argh, what a day. My boss's wife is having hip replacement surgery tomorrow, so he was on quite a tear. I'm so glad the day is over.

I've had a strange pain in my chest all day. I hope it's just a pull, or indigestion
