The Daily Grind ~ 11/27/13

Hello Wednesday!!
So happy this is the last school day this week!! I have my DD home from college.. My DsS22 will be home tomorrow for a few hours.. he is bringing his GF who unfortunately has to work on Friday so they only have a day to come home for the holiday.. I will take the visit any time with them!

This house was rockin' last night.. the kids were tormenting each other and their dad and it was sarcasm 101 here... I have never heard so much laughing!! It's going to be a fun visit!!

On today's agenda:

lunches x 2
load and run dishwasher
load of towels ( I think they multiply when I go to bed at night!)
pull out all the cooking goodies for tomorrow
town for fresh vegetables and other items
DH to do his chore today
prep items I can for lunch/dinner tomorrow
clean out fridge to make lots of room for the goodies
scrap when I can today--- have lots I want to do on Friday in my scraproom.... I don't do shopping on Thanksgiving or Black Friday.. I just don't do well with rude people out and about... At least on a regular day I can avoid them.. kind of hard in a packed store....

Happy Thanksgiving Eve - Gobble, Gobble!

Free day for me today - yay! No cooking either Since it's just DH and I, we are going out to turkey dinner down in the Keys; to Islamorada at a restaurant along the water. Suppose to be gorgeous tomorrow albeit a little cool for us. Sunshine, flip flops and turkey - yay!

Gonna do a little shopping on BF, just to Kohls and Bed, Bath & Beyond. It's two miles from here and won't be too crowded. All the major shopping and the mall are 12 miles up the road and we will steer clear of that area

So, today:
Wrap Christmas gifts and prepare for mailing to AZ & GA niece and nephews
Start on Christmas cards
Do a little scrapping

Good Morning!

Today is my break day in the week no traveling to town and elsewhere and no cooking for tomorrow that was done yesterday or will be done tomorrow.

Today:
make up strawberry ice cream (we are enjoying our ice cream maker thoroughly)
oatmeal cranberry cookies
put up Christmas tree
unpack a few scrap boxes
decide if I am doing a Dec daily and pull papers if I want to do it
dinner- pizza
lunch- trout and salad
work on typing lesson plans through Christmas
