Wow - TGIF...this week seemed to last forever!

I'll try to post pics of DD at her middle school talent show. She looked and did great!

The show was fun - a few musical acts, like hers with the flute (she played The Entertainer and the theme from Star Wars), a couple of piano medleys, one violin solo, couple of guitar players/singers, and LOTS of young girls singing solos of current pop/rock songs and getting drowned out by the exuberant audience who was singing along with every word (except old clueless us!) A few very clever kids did an act with stilts, one with a pogo stick, and one kazoo trio. DD had fun, but is glad it is over!

Kids up and out
Dis and post pics
Walk dog (with FIL?) might get to now, since the rain has stopped - the dog "doesn't do" rain!!!
Vacuum areas not hit on Thurs
Keep looking for rock tumbler parts
Get ready for girl scout meeting here afterschool
Meet TB and family at local church fair (all our kids love the White Elephant area here!)
Dinner - meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and veggies
Maybe some scrapping? Hope so!

I would like to mention the Black Friday schedule came out for work - I'll be working at 6am! Woo...hoo... haha. I actually prefer this to having to close the store at the end of the night when it's basically empty!

didn't play yesterday hit the board to wish Holly a happy day and went off and running. good thing is I will NOT have to go to the grocery store for anything but bread and milk basically for the next 2 months.

It's raning and I've been up since 4 usually the sound lulls ma back to sleep not today I guess.

I have to remake those garlands and do my laundry other than that not much.
bring in a load or 2 of wood
cut up and freeze peppers I bought yesterday
organize chest freezer as pork comes tomorrow.

15. DH--call WDW merchandising to order me a shirt

17. Order Thanksgiving cards--the pics that I didn't like when I was annoyed at DH look good this am!

I'm working today. Nothing planned for tonight, which is good, I need a do nothing night! I got a new book at the library yesterday and I can't wait to start it!

It's rainy here too, I'd love to hang out and read all day...Oh well, I'm only working 2 days next week.

Brooke, I hope you and DH resolved your "discussion." (Sometimes I'd rather just yell!)

I'm working today, we're having a retirement party for a coworker this afternoon, and DS' birthday party is this evening.....a sleepover. Joy, joy! He's going to be 9 next week, but his party is tonight because of Thanksgiving.

My (short) list for today:
Get myself and boys ready
boys to school
go to work
finish up cleaning house
wait for boys to invade my house
enjoy to party

Little Bit shared his cold with mommy.
Not sure what I will work on. The good thing is it isn't the flu. The bad thing is my nose won't stop running. I won't be doing much when one hand is always by my face. As soon as I wash up, I have to blow again.

Guess this a pot of tea and a good book kind of day.

Text DS to remind him to drop DVD's off at library. Those have a big fine ($1 a day each) if they are late and they are due today.
Dinner - steak & gravy with mashed potatoes since we didn't have it earlier in the week when we were supposed to

Mornin'.. it's a yucky rainy, foggy day in our neck of the woods.. No school delays... (shocker, NOT)...

towels in dryer
fold towels and put away
decide on clothes for family photos on Sunday
make all beds
empty dishwasher
straighten rooms, kids did a quick once over last night so the rooms are NOT bad at all
kit some pages together to work on this weekend
upload photos to computer
upload photos to CVS/Walmart/Walgreens (whomever is having a sale)
make last minute list for store next week (veggies, milk, cherries)



That's about it in my day. I hope everyone has a good day.

Can you believe that Russell? OMG, he's by far my least favorite player, but I have to admire his game play. I am a great armchair quarterback, but you'd think by now that people who have watched the show for 19 seasons would learn something from others' mistakes!

Ugh, it's really pouring out there. I need to stop for more coffee on my way to work.

clean dining room table
bathe dogs

maybe- take dogs somewhere so Dh can clean the carpets in a few rooms

OK - I stink at uploading photos without having one of my two tech weenies (DH and Z2H) nearby, but here goes - sorry they are big!

I took the pre-performance ones, including the warm-up one. DH took the (blurry...ggggrrrrrr...) ones during the show with the music stand and microphone in the way. I'm hoping the official photog took better ones of her and that I can get some of his "live" shots since ours are awful.

Russell is my least favorite too. He's rotten. But, I've actually been rooting for him the last few episodes because I think he's played the game the best and deserves to win.

And, I know just what you mean about watching the show and learning from it. It still amazes me how many people go on this show and don't know how to make fire!

We have that too, but luckily I get my fines waived because of working there. A lot of people complain to me about the price, but they're always jerks. If they were nicer, maybe I'd feel bad that they had 20 dollars in fines...

Then again, they're also the ones who scratch the DVDs so badly that we need new ones, so maybe they're just paying their dues.
