GOOD Morning, Ladies!

It's absolutely deluging here, but, I *will* get my act out the door to the gym and pool. Yesterday, I was up half the night and then slept to late to go.

Finish putting away my scrappy supplies
Send cards

figure out how to do Thanksgiving for two. I'd like to stay on my eating plan, so a "taste" of the 6 dishes I'd have had for a crowd are not possible. Even the smallest dish of stuffing would have WAY too many leftovers.

Happy day, all!

Brooke, I'm glad all went well with your Mom's eye surgery. I hope all is good when they take the bandages off today.

Christy, :yay: for a good meeting yesterday!!

Linda, maybe you could order a meal froms someplace. That way you could specify that there are only 2 of you and you won't end up with so many leftovers.

I have a busy busy day today. I will work all day (and it's truck day) and then leave for an hour and half and then come back for 3 hours to teach my scrapbook class. I'm going to be a tired puppy tonight when I get home!

Have a great day everyone!

Brooke - prayers and pixie dust for your Mom.

Got one child going back to school and another one staying home.

Laundry and swap making are on my list for today.

Brooke- glad everything went well with your mom
Christy - happy to hear a report that was great from the meeting

Happy your DN is better and it didn't spread!!
Have a wonderful, magical trip!!!!!

Morning!

Brooke - I'm glad that your mom's surgery went well!

Full day here. Lunch with Dad, then a visit with my BFF and her two cherubs, then out to dinner with DH for an "anniversary." 11 years ago today was our first date, and 10 years ago today he asked me to marry him! I'm not really the type to remember those sorts of dates but this one's easy because it also happened to be my grandmother's birthday. She would have been 92 today - she passed away long before I met DH, but they would definitely have been kindred spirits! He always says our meeting had some heavenly assistance.

Have a great day, everyone!

Morning!

Brooke so glad your Moms surgery well went. Continued PD for her recovery.
Rebecca - pick out cute glasses!
Lisa - do they know what caused the bleeding?

Lots of eye issues around here it seems!

DB - have a great trip! Keep the sickies at bay!

Today:

DD up and out
watch work truck drive in and out
FB/DIS
Load up trash
rotate laundry - towels today
check DW status - run or unload depending
reserve rental car for post cruise
go order couches
PU DD early - go look at paint colors for new house
go to park and let DD3 run around - dang that girl has some pent up energy!
grocery store - need to menu plan
dinner - stroganoff

Good Morning :)

My girls loved La Boheme last night :) :)

Linda--could you cut your stuffing recipe in half (or smaller)? I'm trying to figure out what we're gonna do too. We're going to the grandparents houses (yes, both sets) on Thanksgiving so DH wants me to make another turkey day meal on Friday. There are only 2 of us that eat stuffing and some of the other sides.

That was my first opera, many years ago, and I loved it too :goodvibes

If you're going visiting, maybe you could just bring home some leftover sides and just cook your own turkey?

I've decided we're having turkey, stuffing and veg one day, turkey, potatos and veg another day, turkey and sweet potatos and veg the third day, etc. What?:confused3 At least that way, I can stay on my eating plan and still get a taste of everything I love.

La Boheme was much more fun for them than Tosca (we saw that last spring) since they already knew the story (Rent is DD1s favorite musical) they could just watch and not focus on reading the English translations.

Perhaps I will ask about leftovers, that's a great idea :) Stuffing/dressing is my very favorite and I don't want to have too much of it sitting around ;)

Ugh, I had a day from you know where! My brand-spanking new computer at work has a bad hard drive and won't work! Spent hours and hours (okay, I may be exaggerating a bit) on the phone with someone in India and another set of hours trying to get Outlook to load all my lost emails and install my printer on an old PC. Neither worked. Not a great day. They overnighted a hard drive to a tech, so hopefully, we'll get it replaced tomorrow or Friday.

I'm going to bed to read.

Lisa--I'm glad they can figure out what's causing your bleeding retina. . .now, how do they fix it?

Lisa - do they know what caused the bleeding?

Because I don't have a history of diabetes and high blood pressure, and based on my young age :lmao: (dr's words, not mine) the dr feels it is because of long term use of medication that I was on. Needless to say I am now off that med.

My Wednesday to do list:

Feed cats
Put wood in the woodstove
Put a load of laundry away
Throw a load of laundry into the dryer
caffeinate
gas in the van
work
dinner - pork chops, summer squash, and sweet potatoes
watch dvr'd episode of DWTS
update GPS
oversee tubby time
make card for a dear friends husband. :rolleyes1:rotfl2:
