Happy Veteran's Day. Thank you to all the men and women who serve our country as well as their families. They all give up so much for our freedom. I can't thank you enough for protecting our freedom.
Thank you Gramps, Pappy, Grandpa, and my many families members currently serving.

Rebecca -- hope things are going well with A.. How is B doing?

Happy Veteran's Day!

A BIG thank you to all who have served and to those who stayed behind and waited...writing us letters and sending us care packages during our deployments and time away from home. I was lucky...spent my first two years in the USN at Pearl Harbor giving tours of Ford Island and the USS Arizona Memorial (I worked in Public Affairs) and another two years in Sardinia working as the morning show host and news director on AFN - great times!! Thanks to my husband Joe who spent 20 years on aircraft carriers and served in Desert Storm, my brother Pete - 10 years in the USN, my Dad in USAF, my Grandpa in the Army, my Grandmother- a WWII Army Nurse, my great Uncle Jack who paid the ultimate sacrifice, killed in Okinawa in WWII at the age of 28 leaving behind a wife and 5 year old daughter. Thank you to all of your family and friends who continue to fight for our freedom today!

woke up in middle of the night for a while and finally got back to sleep, was surprised when I woke up at 7:10! haven't slept that late in forever!
