Oh, my! Michelle, I'm so sorry. Please keep us posted.

We're looking at the Carnival Miracle, sailing 4/15/13, for 8 nights to the Eastern Caribbean. It's $2500 for the three of us and the airfare to NYC will be about $600 roundtrip. The airfare for April of this year is over $2700! We booked the 4-night because the itinerary on the 7-night was the same that we had JUST done, and the price was decent (about $1700 for the three of us), but I cannot justify nearly $3000 for airfare for 4 nights. I just can't.

We had looked at the NYC sailings for DCL, but they are only this year (unless they add them later for 2013), and one of the main reasons for changing is for our budget to recover from Mr. Kitty's Wild Adventure at the hospital for 3 days. Can't afford it this year.

DH and I sailed on Carnival in late-90s. We loved it, but the DCL we took in 2010 was AMAZING. So, I will be comparing, but...at least I won't be home And, I get 4 days at sea - no better way to relax!

Oh, and that $2500 is a balcony room (obstructed, but that's okay).
