It's Thursday! The weekend is in sight... and so is some additional snow around here...

Whomever set off Mother Nature please, please, please apologize....

Prayers and pixie dust to all those in need.

I booked DH a flight for FL on Monday to return Tuesday w/ his sis & bil. Of course he is due to return when we are probably going to get another horrible storm.... several friends have called and said "did we hear that accumulation amount correctly??".... We have heard 8-30 inches.... Now, I keep saying..that's a week away.. things can change.... BUT with that said.. I'm going to prepare today and tomorrow for safety... then closer to the crazy the only thing I would need to run and get would be milk...


So today:

DH off to work
make lunches x 2
make dinner menu for 2 weeks and list of extras (probably will buy double of everything and more non cook items)
DS13 up for school
DS13 to school
make grocery list/pull coupons
make list of prep details.... make sure all of our blankets are washed again...
Lysol house --- trying to make sure no one gets sick with this crazy weather.. although as cold as it is.. I wonder if the germs have died off!
DS17 up for school/work
DS17 to school
stores
watch every forecast I can find throughout the day
attempt to scrap a few pages
pick up DS13
post office run for PJ a Valentine's care package
homework duty
DH and DS17 home
dinner
scrap 1 page
time with the boys
talk to PJ again tonight...

Wow Nan - 30 inches??? That's insane!!

The has been one of the most wicked, coldest winters in my lifetime. In the almost 8 years we have lived here, this is the longest I have EVER had the A/C off (mind you, I'm not complaining!!). Yea, I know, that sounds silly compared to all of you in REAL snowy, cold winters but it's a big change for us who live at the very bottom of the 48 states (last stop before the Keys!)

I talked to one of my sisters yesterday about the mess in Atlanta, no school again today for anyone and still hundreds of cars stranded on the interstate. Temps are suppose to get to 40 today and 50's by the weekend so hopefully everyone will have picked up their cars by then. What a Mess!

Pay on line bills
Change out bath towels
Laundry
Lunch with a friend
Grocery shop
Soup and Sandwiches for dinner
Maybe scrap a page or two

Safe travels for your DH next week Nan, wow hope you get the. 8" too way to much snow and cold! We are just getting rain which we need, means snow in the mountains for us!

Weather channel just showed a "projected" model of the path (with no accumulation projections).. yea, it's gonna hammer us..... PJ looks like she is going to get iced in...

I went shopping today so there was no one preparing yet.... so I got in and out and hit a major sale so I didn't have to spend a boat load of money... I have a few more things to get but I will do that this weekend...

Boy is the wind really kicking up around here... my word!
