The Daily Grind ~1/20/11~

Just go the text/ email that we have a 2 hour delay tomorrow morning.. that throws my day off but at least we get to sleep in!

OK, time to register my upcoming sophomore... where has the time gone!!

ETA: have now registered my sophomore!

I have not had the girls squished yet, but I know my time is coming. Both my great-grandma and her brother had breast cancer. :guilty:

Good luck! Get the squish and then get an adult beverage. :flower3:

2 hr delay is good though, they sometimes turn into that super magical phrase...SNOW DAY! :thumbsup2 I am a kid at heart when it comes to snow.

Hi all--

checking in super late today

Getting the girls squished isn't that bad, especially if you can look forward to an adult beverage after. I started early too, my grandma died from breast cancer when she was 52. My girls are "gifted" so getting close to the machine isn't the issue, they need to really lower it 'cause I'm so short ;)

I'm sure you east coasters are sick of s**w. Stay warm!

Nan-my kids don't even register until the end of next month.

At my lab they give us a bag with a water, a breakfast bar, and some chocolate and pink mints in it. It's a nice little perk after the squeeze.

mine had a heating pad, so it was nice and toasty :goodvibes....my mom had breast cancer after 60, so I'm not high risk...but had a baseline at 35 before I got preggers with Megan and every year since I turned 40!

One of the girls I mentioned earlier was diagnosed at 30 right after she had her second kid.
She's why I'm going to go.

Boys up
boys to school

Is DD not going to school? Are you home schooling her?

Glad your ta ta photo shoots aren't bad at all.

Roads are getting yucky here even w/ the plows out! YUCK! Can't tell the drives in the school lot.. kids are leaving w/ only a peep hole on their front window.. OK, seriously.. do parents not explain the importance of the windows being cleared off before driving!!! My gosh! If we caught PJ w/ a peep hole to drive by she'd better hope she can run thru that peep hole because her dad and I are going to fuming!:headache::mad::eek: PJ clears off all her windows and allows other students to use her scrapper.. And why, oh why do kids not have scrappers in their cars for winter... :scared1: Heck, PJ has an emergency kit, knows how to use jumper cables and can even tie tow straps if need be... maybe it's just the country girl in me and the fact that DH grew up around lake effect snows... or maybe we are just too protective...

Maybe you are just smart.:goodvibes

What was today? Thursday? My weekdays are a blur since I had Monday and Tuesday off.
