morning all

gonna be a busy one. we're hoping to go to camp have the house sitter all arranged now I need the snow to stop for a couple of days.

Good Morning!

I finished truely deep cleaning my living and dining rooms yesterday- so I will work on my scrap room with whatever time I have left this week and start a new set of rooms after we return from Orlando- we are heading there Sunday for a week of classes for DH.

Today:
field trip with the classes I volunteer in
dinner- need to figure it out before I leave
zumba
work on scrap room- I need to put enough away that I can move in the area without having to pivot in the center of the area

Hope the snow stops for those of y'all still getting it! We're supposed to get another wave this weekend supposedly.

Crazy day yesterday, didn't have time to get on here...craziest day of the week today! Tonight's one of those nights where we have to be in 4 places at the same time...DS8 has wrestling practice from 6-7:30, DS14 has a nutrition meeting for football at 7, and he also has batting cages from 7:30-9, and Dneice has pageant rehearsal from 6:30-7:30. Thank goodness for friends helping out!!

I'm off to tackle my mountain of laundry, have a great day everyone!!

Mornin'... watchin' the flurries fall all around... Kids went to school on time...curious to see if they release early.. My thought is NO.. they got them there.. keep them there... check TV, web for release/cancellations (we have a game tonight....) DS14 scored last night!!! He did great!!!


Registered PJ for her SENIOR year yesterday!!! Now to see if they can keep the class she choose w/ her 2 college classes next year... not many options for electives to fill in her schedule because we don't offer things to use in the nursing field that she has not already taken... Will register DS14 for his sophomore year tonight after his game..


Today I have done a lot this morning... so to reward myself I will spend the rest of the day scrapping...

OH Lisa, it's really not as bad as it sounds!!!
I live less than a 5 minute drive from all the schools smack in the middle of town...
I do alot of my cleaning during commericals at night when we are watching TV/talking... HS kids are a lot of fun to get talking...the gossip is hilarious! I love to hear my kids "ask what the heck are they thinkin?"...

Hey Nan! My backyard looks like the artic tundra! lol Haven't we had enough already?! Although Jacka is looking forward to playing in it later and eating snow cream. (Yay me for remembering to set the bowl out.)

Just took DS's first batch of melted crayons for his valentine's. They came out really cute.

DH works an hour south of here and the snow is getting deep...pixie dust that he makes it home okay please!

I'm back. I have to see a podiatrist about my foot, ergh. And the girls are good, he thinks the pain is from my underwire cause it mashes at the junction of a gland and muscle but I still have to get a base line mammogram. BLECH!!!! Getting old sucks!
On a good note, DH will be home that week so I'm gonna milk it for all it's worth!!

Yes, I am over it.. I think we will have some snow cream tonight... this is a nice fluffy snow so it will be delicious!!! Thanks for the reminder... Will take photos of our bowl!!!

Buffy~ the girls will be fine.. I survived so I know you will!!!

ETA: alot of our plans were canceled so my last task for the day is to go get DS14 from school.. then I will finish scrapping a few more pages.. I really like the layout (even though I tweaked it from the sketch) for our family album of the 2010 Christmas... it's based off a Becky H. sketch!!! (thank you Buffy for that book.. it has been put to great use!!!)

Not much going on today, went shopping with my sister to get stuff for Sophie's banner, did some laundry, finished Mockingjay, got a few items at the grocery store, we're all set for more freakin' sn@w tomorrow! We *cannot* get a break!

That just tickled me that you wrote that.. I knew what you meant but had to raze you for it!!

Roads are getting yucky here even w/ the plows out! YUCK! Can't tell the drives in the school lot.. kids are leaving w/ only a peep hole on their front window.. OK, seriously.. do parents not explain the importance of the windows being cleared off before driving!!! My gosh! If we caught PJ w/ a peep hole to drive by she'd better hope she can run thru that peep hole because her dad and I are going to fuming! PJ clears off all her windows and allows other students to use her scrapper.. And why, oh why do kids not have scrappers in their cars for winter... Heck, PJ has an emergency kit, knows how to use jumper cables and can even tie tow straps if need be... maybe it's just the country girl in me and the fact that DH grew up around lake effect snows... or maybe we are just too protective...

Yeah, I know. Especially after watching 2 friends go through breast cancer and chemo and all that bad stuff. They are the reason I'm not putting it off.
But it still stinks!

I had to start young because my grandmother had a mastectomy before age 50. My girls are uh, on the small size, so the worst part for me is getting close enough to the machine!
