It's the Day After Monday!

I drove home last night in what started out as snow, then turned to rain. Really? How can it rain when the temp is reading 28?


My list for today:

Caffeinate...This repeats everyday

Feed Pups

DIS/FB

Swish, Swipe, Swiffer

Pack stuff up for PO on Wednesday

Pack a dinner

Good morning! Yay for Not Monday!! We are back to work today--after being out all last week due to the white stuff. We're actually on a one-hour delay, but DH wants to get out close to regular time, so I'm up! I slept about an hour-2 hours last night. . .it always takes me time to get back on schedule!

Today at work, though, is pajama day for Homecoming, so it makes it better that I can wear my Perry the Platypus pajamas to work!

Here's my list for today:

3. Pack lunches
4. DS's stuff together
5. DS up & to mom's
6. Work
7. work on things to do list
8. Pick up DS
9. Work on house things to do list
10. Scrap 4-6 pages

14. Collapse into bed! I'm thinking I may have to fight to stay awake for Gibbs tonight!

We're back to school too after a week off. Kids aren't so happy about it, but they need to get back to their routine. I had a great time on my girl's scrapbooking trip this past weekend-got 52 pages done, which is a lot for me because I'm a slow scrapper.

Morning - no school here today. It was fun at first last week, but now the thought of those extra days in June .... We have 5 snow days built into our school calendar and this is our third one.

Go re-look at a house today in the light. Saw it last night, might possibly work but have to take my favorite handyman to see what he can do about the floors and kitchen, my two main EWWWWS, but there is room for everyone including a huge yard and a bonus room for a huge office/scrap space.

Well, it's very snowy out there. I'm glad they canceled school, I hate to drive in this white stuff.

Rachal, I hope the house works out for you and the girls.

We are dealing with an ice storm. Started with a 3" dusting of sn@w, followed by sleet, finished off with freezing rain. We lost power and are operating off the generator at the moment.

My to do list:

Feed cats
Feed dawg
walk dawg, of course she couldn't do her business right away, we had to play!
Empty dishwasher
Chistle away at Mt. Washmore

Lisa, Its not, but there isn't much in our market, for what we want to pay. and due to financing issues we lost out on our top pick (our loan officer dropped the ball). Looked at a more move in ready house the other night but the bathrooms were so small you have to go in and close the door to get to the tub. it was like a handicapped stall.

This one has a little more room overall, the kitchen is small, but the dining room is big, and once the kitchen is redone it would be decent. so we'll see how it goes today with the handyman, and a price quote on getting it move in ready.

Someone in our state government got the bright idea to change our number of snow days to 3 instead of 5....lovely. My boys had school yesterday (MLK) as a make-up day, and I believe we have 4 more to make up. One will be Presidents' Day, then we kiss spring break goodbye. I heard that our new governor is planning to put it back to 5 days, but who knows.


Rita - Hope you had a good day!!

I worked today, no phone calls about sick kids, which is a good change. DH had dinner ready soon after I got home (chicken in the crockpot, mashed potatoes and gravy, and corn), and he cleaned it up. He did and put away the laundry, and other than help him unload the dishwasher, I have no housework type stuff to do this evening!!!

I'm thinking about going to bed early, but we'll see. It's going to be a lazy evening, for sure!

I felt the pixie dust today! Although Im only a sub, I could so easily fall in love with this class! They were great kids all around, even the "all boy" boys!

I play all of those games, Farmville, Frontierville and Citiville and had changed them all to snow and it got to the point that I had to change them all back because I couldnt take the white stuff any more. I dont know how you all take months! of it and you all deal with the real thing!

we have 2 1/2 snow days to make up here....with no days built in, they just tack in onto the end of the year so we are now getting out June 24th...what a nice hubby, enjoy your restful evening.
