we got another 1" over night of snow....more is coming, looks like Megan will get her wish of no school tomorrow and maybe Wed too! they were already off today!

going to stay home warm and cozy today.

pick up the house a bit
swiffer floors
swipe bathrooms
have megan put away her clothes
check to see if she has dance tonight ??

I'm at work, but my boss is away, so it will be easy today Morgan is "helping" with Sophie. Actually, she is a big help, keeps Sophie out of Betsy's hair so she can tend to Ryan.

Today's list:

Let Sarah sleep as long as she wants so she can recover from her trip to the emergency room last night. Hope she's not in too much pain from the spinal tap they did to check for meningitis All the test results were negative; no flu, no strep, no meningitis. Diagnosis--virus, bring her back if she doesn't improve.

Laundry
Clean the bathroom
Crop--finish the calendar pages for 2012
Check on FIL
Dinner--chicken stroganoff

Oh my Cheryl.. DH has had a spinal tap and he said those are awful...
DD got up and remembered she had to be at work by 10am...so she rushed out w/ food in hand.. we all forget she had to work today... we had it marked on the calendars but didn't think anything more about it... She got up at 9:30 and was out the door by 9:50 (work is a 5 minute drive).

Today:

take the boys to lunch
scrap
once over on house
kids to clean rooms
kids to make sure homework is done
movie evening w/ kids

Cherly - I am glad to hear that your DD is okay. So scary!

Although it's Monday, I'm treating it like the weekend since kiddos are home. YAY!

See if I can talk kids into playing Disney Trival Pursuit. (I just got it on sale and am dying to play!
Take kiddos to school to leave for there games (both 1 hour away)
Drive to whichever game I am going to (DH will see the other)
Watch some basketball ball

Cheryl- I had a spinal headache for 2 weeks from a botched epidural. If it's bothering her, stay flat. It evens out the pressure if there is still some drainage. Poor thing, hope she feels better soon!

Well, I didn't half done yesterday... At 11 I got a call from the girl that does my hair... I forgot my appt. Rushed to the mall, and when I was finished, got a little shopping done and went to Mike's. 5 for $1 Disney paper that I needed for my FE gifties that Jo's is out of! SCORE!!!

My FE gifties are:

• small box with kiss inside for Valentine's Day
• Post-it note spiral booklet using my bind it all
• Bookmarks

Back to work today...

Nag DH some more to see what's wrong with the rod in said closet... can't put any clothes on it!

Oh Cheryl, I hope Sara feels better soon. Poor girl.

DD and I are off. We started the day with a seizure. She ended up resting for most of the day.

My to do list:

cleaned the pantry
organized the Mt. Washmore room
cleaned two linen closets
empty dishwasher
made rice krispie treats
Did the Mt. Washmore shuffle
Roast chicken and brussel sprouts for dinner
go to the UConn/North Carolina womens basketball game. Nancy, it is on ESPN2 at 7:00 pm. Look for me! Actually we sit very close to the tv crew, never get on TV.

First of all, Lisa and Cheryl -- hope both your daughters are on the mend!!
Secondly, is Massachusetts the only state to celebrate MLK day? All state offices, schools etc.. were closed.
Had a wonderful family reunion here today with Roger's family members. Met 3 new nieces - family member "dropped out" after his kids were little, and my dd recently "rediscovered" them through Facebook. What an awesome day we had. Basically, they never knew we existed until the meeting on FB.
Rog would have been so proud to have met them.
Back to school tomorrow. Need this reality check to get my lesson plans done. Night.

Depends on the school calendars here Lindababe... MLK is not always off for the schools but it is for federal, state, post office, etc.
Our district uses MLK as a built in snow day so if we have no days off we get the holiday off..

Sounds like an exciting meeting... glad FB helped bring the family back together...

we had today off....my bff kids in the next school district over got today and tomorrow off....we get the 30th off for inservice instead...they don't build in snow days here, just tack them on to the end of school
