I'm finally feeling almost normal. Feel like I lost a day there.

Morgan is off to school, no delay, no nothing, but the sidewalks are not plowed. I'm very very peeved.

Laundry and cleaning and vacuuming, hope to get some crafty stuff done too.

Hi everyone! Please be safe in all of the sn*w out there! We are off the rest of the week. . .that only leaves us ONE sn*w day before the end of the year. So. . .it's official, the "NO MO' SNOW" dances have begun. Wouldn't you know it, the snow is falling like crazy right now, but this one's already counted, so no worries!

My list for today:

4. Laundry--sheets & rest of clothes
5. Fold & put away laundry
6. Straighten rooms
7. SCRAP!!!!! Try to convince DS to "help" momma!8. Make grocery list

Snow day 4...cabin fever is setting in!!

The main roads aren't that bad, but the side roads and neighborhoods are still pretty icy. We don't have enough snow plows and salt/gravel down here to deal with all the snow & ice we got. We haven't had mail service all week-who knows if we'll have school tomorrow. This is crazy!!

hope everyone is feeling better, staying warm and safe for those with the s***, ours was all gone last night thanks to lots of rain and 45 deg!

Today we start our next chapter....I was sent this by megan's 2nd grade teacher yesterday and it is going to be my new "motto" for the year...

life is not about waiting for the storms to pass....
its about learning how to dance in the rain....

I am going to learn how to dance in the rain more .... and included!!!!

Well, I slept last night but didn't feel like I did so I went back to bed after getting the kids off to school..

So, today:

load of towels/DS14's bb socks for game tomorrow night.. He has one pair for tonight clean.

find some of the 7th & 8th grade XC photos for DD's sports album (pull sketches/photos to order) ~ 6th grade is pretty much a bust for photos as little brother was only 4 and I was chasing him as much as I was cheering her on that photos weren't taken much..
notes on journaling that needs written for some more pages
sort photos that are due in today
pick up elem kids
elem homework duty
pick up DS14 after HS release
get dinner going for game tonight (have to eat before we go)
take DS14 back to school by requested time
first game of new year ~ charge batteries & have camera ready!!!!
back to school for game (take snacks from home although we have just eaten don't know who would be hungry except my DS10 who is a bottomless pit!)
home and to bed for the kidlets
wash DS14's shirt required to be worn to school the day of games
make list for tomorrow at halftime of the game

Lisa - a friend of mine had that quote as her Facebook status the other day - I love it!

Well today is the kind of day I don't mind the white stuff because it's all sunny and pretty. We had the kids Tues and Wed nights so it was fun to have a "snow day" with them again yesterday - it's been a long time!

My day:
Help DH do the last minute cleanup on the edges of the driveway, sidewalk, etc (We always have the best-shoveled house on the street as DH as pretty OCD about snow-removal)
Drop DsDs off at work and home
Over to BFFs house to play with kiddos
Continue working on vacation "to-do list" - a mile long. I used my day being housebound yesterday to start packing. 9 days!
Obsess over CKC class list
