My son was watching AI, and I told him about Mike. I was upstairs, and all of a sudden DS17 scared me to DEATH by hollering and hollering... I finally figured out it was Mike on the TV and DS wasn't being molestered in the LR or fending off a home invasion. I missed most of the stuff about him on the boat (operator difficulties with the TV remote :upsidedow), but saw him sing and get through.

I had already decided that I wasn't going to watch this year...but now I have someone to cheer for! :cheer2::cheer2:

Randy said "no"? What's up with that??? :headache:

Thanks, gang, for watching Mike! Z2H did get home in time to watch him on AI , but she missed the first hour (with all the crazy contestants!). Mike sang ok, but he's capable of SO much better. He's got a great voice and that didn't come through. First time watching the show - didn't realize what we were missing.:happytv:

Back in the harness today after taking most of yesterday to scrap shop (with the LSS store credit - so "free money"). Shouldn't be too bad of a day, but the kids have a half day - so am hosting a lively afternoon with lots of friends here.

Mornin'...

Today will be sort of busy for me.. it'll be okay... at least tonight I have the night off from basketball games... This will make DH's 3rd game this week. I'm not going because our DS9 has a big test to study for and our DS13 has been invited to go to another event.. DD has another commitment w/ a friend... so DH is on his own watching DsS15 play.

empty dishwasher
older kids to school
dust family room
clean scrap room
:laundy: started
finish 4 pages that are kitted by lunch time
pick up kdg student
balance ckbk
pay bills

list for small grocery run & task completed
fill out paperwork for DS13's indoor soccer league (starts Saturday)
verify amount owed for indoor soccer (I don't part w/ my money w/o proper details!)
pull PJ's baby photos for book, have list of pages to do.. (actually redoing some that were already done as I don't like them!)
go through kids' pages down stairs and see what sports pages have been done and mark them off the list team/indiv photos done all by 2 seasons for DS13 & DD16!! DS9 is done for this month's goal!!
take 20 minutes and collage some sports pages from the 2008 winter season for highlight pages for DS13 and DsS15 (they are done, just need the small photos)
look thru the Give a day get a day list and get our family signed up for a day! ;)
homework duty

I know there is more on my list...but can't for the life of me think of them currently.
I hope everyone has a great day!

I woke with a lovely headache and sore throat. It's far too cold for the germs to be surviving here, so I don't know what's up. I could really go back to bed...But, I must work.

I saw AI, we never watch it either. Well, sometimes we watch the beginning to see the nightmarish people who think they can sing. Who *tells* them they can? I'm thinking Codzilla is something we need to check out this summer.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Rebecca, if you see this before you leave for DHS, could you pick me up a map and mail it to me? I'd like to see what's on it for the swap. Thanks much!

I dunno! Maybe he didn't like that Mike asked Kara out for steaks? :rotfl:

I may, may, may be working on it this summer (depends on who's already working, if there's space, if Lou wants me on it, etc), so if I am, I'll take care of you...

Thank you everyone for watching Mike! It was so much fun seeing him on national TV - now I just have to wait a few weeks until I tune in again!

The last two days have been tough on our end, so tonight when I got home and saw a package from Po3, it warmed my heart that she sent me a little sumin' sumin'. DD was the beneficiary of remaining reusable market bags from the bag swap! Thanks, Rebecca for remembering how much DD loves reusable bags, and thanks, Holly for mailing them to her.:grouphug: It's like she won the bag lotto!!! :rotfl2:

Your welcome Lisa but i just passed it along. Sorry it took
me so long to mail them. I put them aside and saw them
and said - oh goodness those belong to Lisa's daughter.
again sorry for the delay.

Rebecca, if you see this before you leave for DHS, could you pick me up a map and mail it to me? I'd like to see what's on it for the swap. Thanks much!

I didn't but I will be back again on the 25th- I will get a map and mail it then. if I remember a stamped envelope I will mail it from Disney.
